Great waffle house experience and came with some first timers! Stopped by on a busy Saturday morning post Jazz Fest and didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for a table. Staff were so friendly and patient and our food was delicious. Hot and fresh, perfectly seasoned, and everything came out just as ordered. No Waffle House where we all live and this was the best treat before heading home!! We even bought a mug, only $5, as a souvenir and reminder of our great time.
I’m born and raised in Georgia and have lived there in Illinois for almost 7 years now. So yes, I’ll go to a Waffle House every chance I get. We were in Cincinnati for the weekend and on the way back we said let’s drive across the river and have WH for breakfast. You’ve been to one you’ve been to them all. But it’s the nostalgia in the food and memories that I love. The food and service are always ‘mid’ at best. But next time I’m down or near one best believe...
This location sucked! Service was slow. Waitress forgot half of our order so we had to wait even longer. Food was mediocre at best. Should have followed our first mind and went to a different location. We'll know to bypass this one next year when we come back.
