This should soon be the heart of Covington whiskey trail. Bourbon was a light supper with lots of flavor. The sherry cask finish is insane! Must buy bottle! Rye and wheated were good. Great little lounge, with a cigar bar up top. I’ll be back for a bachelor party!

Stumbled upon this place thanks to Google maps as I was staying at a hotel close by and had a few hours to kill. I was not expecting to be blown away by the setting, hospitality or experience I enjoyed.
Griffin was a great host and although I'm not a bourbon fan, I did walk out a fan of Wenzel bourbon blends.
If you are within an hour drive on a weekend, this should be a destination for you.

The experience was well designed and excellent presentation. Never felt rushed and plenty of creation combinations. Nice comfortable blending area I highly recommend for a unique bourbon event to mix in with traditional bourbon distillery tours.

Cannot recommend Wenzel more for a unique blending experience or a small event. We were the first to have a wedding there and it was absolutely amazing! We did our own blend for gifts to our guests that attended our reception. I’d give Wenzel 100 stars but can only select 5.
Most excellent experience! Griffin was an awesome host! The experience was fun and informative and very approachable! The blending experience was a well thought-out and very well executed concept. Everything was explained in very easy to understand terms. The process was so much fun, and getting your own bottle to take home was well worth the price! Oh, and the history of Henry Wenzel and the property itself was super cool!! Highly recommend!
