I’m usually a big fan of Goodfellas Pizzeria and the Wise Guy Lounge, but unfortunately, this particular location left a very unsettling impression. My partner and I had planned to grab some pizza and then head upstairs to Wise Guys, but our experience at the pizzeria itself made that impossible.
From the moment we sat down, the staff behavior was concerning. It started with some tension involving the kitchen staff. One of the kitchen team members came up to get a glass of water, and it was obvious that the staff behind the pizza counter were harassing him. It felt unprofessional, and my partner and I genuinely felt bad for the kitchen staff, as it seemed like he was being picked on or bullied by the employees upstairs.
Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. While we were enjoying our meal, a server behind the pizza counter made a completely inappropriate comment to a group of young teenagers sitting behind us. The kids were just laughing and enjoying some hot sauce—totally harmless—but the server suddenly said, “I bet you guys say the N-word,” and went on to accuse them of being racist while referencing video games they might play. The kids looked shocked and confused; they weren’t behaving in any racist manner at all.
It was appalling to witness this—patrons being publicly accused of racism for no reason—and it completely ruined the atmosphere. Not only was it unprofessional, but it also made everyone in the restaurant extremely uncomfortable. My partner and I couldn’t finish our food, and we didn’t even attempt to go upstairs as planned.
I will continue to support other Goodfellas and Wise Guys locations, but this particular location is off my list entirely. If you don’t want to experience hostility or unprofessional behavior, I strongly recommend avoiding this venue.

Great quiet spot that has amazing craft cocktails. The pizza is over priced. But the rest is the best spot for a chill night. Highly recommend the hatchet cocktail just for the show that goes into making it.

I really like this up the stairs bar. They have a good selection of bourbon. Their cocktails are creative and have lots of fresh ingredients. Comfy couches to converse on. Always have great music playing. You can have a pizza brought up from downstairs. Cozy place.

The pizza was a thin crust but not crispy. Lots of toppings with a great meaty sauce. The bar upstairs is insane! Amazing selection of Bourbons and whiskeys. You can even buy some of their barrel picks!

Very cool and charming little bar
Tristan and Erin were great to chat with. We shared cocktail recipes and ideas. Great menu of drinks and pours. Highly recommend as an out of towner.
