Out of all the seafood boil places I’ve had in this region I really love their sauce and the seafood is always perfectly cooked. Great stuff!!

Host was rude as if they didn't want to be there. Threw the menus down and said...I'm let me see who your server will be and never returned. 20 minutes later we found someone. The server seemed nice but knew nothing about the menu and had to ask someone else and was gone 10 minutes to do so.
Food did arrive quickly, some items like the corn and potatoes and sausage was okay but the seafood tasted rubbery, overcooked and loaded with garlic. Once we got the food we never saw the server again. Again we found a male and he was extremely rude ans said he'd get our check.
We where charged an automatic 18% gratuity as a service charge and paid 6% tax on it. You should never get taxed on a tip and it makes me curious why it's not itemized as gratuity. We left an additional 15% cash tip. As we where leaving our server was talking to another server about how disrespectful it was to not do 20% to because "They have bills too" and don't "Work for nothing". It was clear they where talking about us because the place had just a few other tables still eating. Then it was clear when the server our server was talking to said if someone wants to leave 15% go to wafflehouse and laughed.
So do the servers not get the 18% because by my math I paid a 28% gratuity for service that didn't meet the standard for that amount.
Something is "FISHY" with this seafood restaurant and the servers need to learn to respect paying customers and be attentive to their job. We won't be back.

Seafood boil is always great and exactly what I expect. Even when I request certain things, they're always accommodating.

Where do I start! Umm I slit my lip on the beer mug…. Told the waiter he didn’t care…. Got the calamari no taste at all! I added salt and pepper and still soggy and gross! Then we ordered the cod basket! Breaded well, but no taste and dry! Fry’s clumped together and nasty as well! This is a Chinese Owned establishment but that shouldn’t matter they just don’t know seafood! I’m sorry! They made me pay for the drinks and appetizer even after I cut my lip! If this was anyone else a law suit would have happened!
Went 8/12/24 at 8:56 PM. Host was very unwelcoming. He said we were one minute past dine-in time cutoff. He said, “it’s not fair to the cooks.” But he also told us we could place to-go orders until 9:15 PM which means the cooks weren’t the issue. His real problem was the possibility that we would be in the restaurant past close. And this became more clear as the night went on. The waitress started off friendly but around 9:30 became pushy — passively, but still. Then the host came by and stated they were closed. Again, being pushy. I felt rushed and unwelcome. I normally tip 20% as a baseline and in a situation when I’m in the restaurant past close I tip 30%, but the way we were treated was so unwelcoming that I felt I had to make a statement by leaving no tip. This clearly upset a waitress who wasn’t ours because she came out into the parking lot and threw her hands up and began making a scene about the fact that we didn’t tip. We explained to her how rude and pushy the staff were but she wasn’t prepared to accept any responsibility. I won’t be going back again.

right off the bat, the hostess but now learned is the manager, was extremely rude. I think his name was Chris. He said we don’t seat tables after 855 (it was 856) and that it would be inconveniencing the cooks (although they cook TOGO orders until 9:15) we said we were stuck in gridlock traffic so we were a minute late, he reluctantly sat us and rudely mentioned the 930 closing time. Server at first came off sweet, but partially into our meal started to rush us to the point where we felt so unwelcomed. Rushing through our dinner, almost done, the manager walked by and said it’s 15 minutes past close. I’ve worked in the restaurant business as a server/manager for over 15 years and I would NEVER have treated my customers this way, even after close. We chose not to tip, which I never do because I’m a server, so you know it was pretty bad. As we were pulling out, a random waitress runs outside and starts yelling about why we didn’t tip. I stated how I would never have treated guests that away, and she said we served you after closing time. I said we came in 5 minutes til 9, you close at 930. She was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I said I’d like to talk to the manager and she said he’s inside! (The hostess) I have never in my life felt this unwelcomed, and honestly harassed by an establishment/service worker in my life. I’ve seen countless reviews saying similar things to mine, and I see you comment back that you’ll see that things change and that’s not normal for your team, etc an excuse as to why your employees treated your paying customers with disrespect, but as of August 13th 2024 there has been no change. I pray you find God because yall need it lol

Food was okay, but the host was rude immediately, they rushed us out the door, tried to guilt trip us, and when we didn’t tip were actually followed into the parking lot and shouted at, payed way to much money to be treated like animals

I have been to this resteraunt many times. This time I received a different server than usual and I was not given items I ordered and it was just an overall bad experience. I didn't want this one instance to ruin my entire review of this resteraunt but it defiantly seems to be going downhill, with smaller portion sizes, poor service, and watered down sauces.
