Would've loved to have tried this place but every site and social media said different hours. 11-2pm Friday and Saturday.

Excellent BBQ! I had the smoked turkey, which was sensational. I did try my friend's pulled pork, which was delicious, too!! Green beans and Cole slaw were good as well.

I always get the pulled pork sandwich with the competition (medium) sauce. It is absolute perfection. Last time, I decided to get a half pound of wings just to try them. I got them with the dry rub and OMG... perfection as well. At first, I thought the rub contained Hussman’s barbecue chips but now I am thinking it’s Grippos barbecue chips. I could be totally wrong haha. I am going to order a ton on Saturday, and air fry them for Super Bowl Sunday. I’m sure they won’t be as good as they are when fresh but I bet they will still be better than most wings from other places!

Good food. Brought to you relatively quick. Try the burnt ends. Sauces are good too... this made me hungry. I wish google didn't ask for these at dinner time.

Checked this new bbq joint out for lunch and was not disappointed. So much to choose from and the sauces are delicious. I personally had the burnt end sandwich and some dry rub wings. DELICIOUS!!!!

They definitely just became my favorite bbq place in the nky area! We got the judges sampler to try a bit of everything and it did not disappoint! You can tell they really take their time with smoking all their meats. The baked beans are very unique, very chili like. The green beans are very soft and have great flavoring. Also, the dry rub on their smoked wings is a great flavor on its own without any bbq sauce. I highly recommend checking them out. Only open late on the weekends right now but I appreciate them taking their time with opening and expanding then rushing and not having good quality food.

I and my husband travel a lot and we enjoy trying locally owned restaurants. I was a bit concerned when we pulled into the parking lot for Velvet Smoke at dinner time and the restaurant seemed empty. We decided to try it anyway and im so glad we did. They offered a few different sauces but the brisket and chicken were so flavorful and moist thst none were needed. The meat was tender enough to be cut with a plastic fork. My husband is a foodie and comes from the south. His response was "This is hands down the best brisket ive ever had". The sides were equally as good. The staff were welcoming and friendly and service was very good. Dont miss this hidden gem. You will not be disappointed.

Their meat is prepared fresh and in house daily, sauces made fresh in house as well. Definitely no lack of flavor in the food. Best dine in bbq I've had and for a great price!

Very well organised and welcoming spot. They offer big meals and for affordable rates. I enjoyed the food very much and the waiters were very personal and chatty. I recommend this place.

Tried a little bit of everything! VERY Tasty BBQ & a wonderful staff

So happy they opened in NKY. I happened to drive by for something else and saw they were open. The smoked wings are unbelievable, especially with the dry rub. I had the ribs as well without sauce and they were incredible. Can not wait until they are open daily.
