Applebee's Grill + Bar

Terrible.
The place smells horrendous, apparently the have problems with the pipes, pure sewage water 🤢 smell. The place looks almost abandoned, run down.
The food wasn't good at all, AT ALL! and the silverware was dirty.
I feel bad to leave one star because the waitress was very kind and sweet.
But the whole place, food and experience was horrendous!

There are so many things we could cover but I’ll just focus on the cleanliness. The heavy odor of cleaning products and what smells like dirty water can’t be missed. In the dining area. I won’t go into the state of the bathrooms.

Reviews go back months about a raw sewage smell and they aren't exaggerating in the slightest. We dined on November 5th, the smell was absolutely horrendous, the food was undercooked yet burnt, and the staff was incredibly rude. Disgusting restaurant, staff should all be fired and fined for extreme various health code violations and the building should be condemned. You all are just waiting for someone to lawyer up.

Had chicken broccoli Alfredo meal. Broccoli not available due to recall and did not offer to substitute another side item. Alfredo noodles were very tough to chew..felt like old noodles. Even with BOGO coupon wasn't worth it. A big disappointment.

There was barely anyone in the restaurant and barely any staff. No one at the host stand, we were the only ones in line and were told to give them 5 min to be seated. We continued to wait with staff who just walked by and ignored us so we left. So many tables that needed cleared and the place was so dirty.

Not sure if there was a previous plumbing issue or a flood but there was an offensive damp odor permeating the entire restaurant. They had blowers and dehumidifiers running so hopefully it's just a temporary problem but it was extremely off-putting.

Yes I have. Several friends and I visited the one in Florence Kentucky. The first one I've been to in 18 years. I enjoyed myself with my friends, and the service was great. I visited another Applebee's a few weeks ago. It was nice, the food was good and price was great. The server did great with taking care of a group of 8, and almost everyone ording the 2 for $25.

There was an unpleasant odor when we entered the building, we did not stay to be seated.
