This a terrific place to stop and get an iced cold cup of flavored ice on a hot day. They offer a wide variety of flavors and you're sure to find one you'll like. I love the repurposed Airstream Trailer the use for the business. It is so shiny and cute. a must stop in Crestwood.

Nestled in the corner of the Crestwood Station shopping center lies what appears to be an abandoned Airstream. Which, during the winter months, is exactly what it is. However, when the temps start to creep up Shiver Shake wakes up and serves shaved ice. They offer plenty of flavors, toppings, and you can get ice cream added if you'd like. The prices are fair--got 3 for 10 bucks, the girl working was kind enough to answer or questions and offer guidance. Tasted good and was nice on a hot day. Four stars and here's why: the ice isn't really shave ice, it's the kind with big chunks that is hard to eat. It's more of a snow cone than shaved ice. Wait for it to melt, I know! Basically, it's not Matsumoto (Haleiwa, HI), but it is better than Fitz in La Grange.
