I havent been here, but the prices seem a little steep for that area, the food is basic so for those prices, as a chef, idk about small that, but everybody has overhead to pay so gotta pay bills somehow and not alot of traffic in the region so I kinda understand, but would 1$ less almost across the board increase sales?.. idk ijs.
Showed up on a day that they weren't technically open (my bad for not checking first) with a friend from grad school who was visiting KY for the first time, they were serving a tour group an amazing buffet lunch cooked by the same staff that cooks their "regular hours" meals. Travis, the proprietor since 2016, was extremely gracious and allowed us to slide in as if we were part of the tour group. I've eaten at "Appalachian chic" restaurants in Brooklyn...
