I was looking so forward to eating here and I loved the atmosphere but unfortunately please be careful when you are ordering your food. I can't eat Pepper and I happen to order fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy with green beans and they had so much pepper on everything that I couldn't eat my food. I also had their famous pie. Their pie was delicious ? ? ? ?, and I really loved it. I might be wrong but maybe they don't put that much pepper on everything every day. The chicken was delicious ? ? ? ?.

First visit today while on a springtime drive. Terrific choice for lunch in a historic setting. We had a fried catfish sandwich (excellent) and a Reuben sandwich (maybe the best on the planet) and house-made chips. The service was fast & pleasant. With lots of interesting menu choices, we'll be back!

A delightful belly full ! Yummy food and a great atmosphere! Drove my mother and neighbor couple("Bonnie"&"Clyde ")from Falmouth to Cynthiana to grocery shop at Rulers. We stopped at Biancke's for lunch. I dropped everyone at the front door and found parking up the street. I ordered the special, because I'm a special boy ! The main course consisted of a mouth-watering encrusted chicken nestled atop a bed of aromatic and cooked to perfection?stuffing ! Brussel Sprouts, hash brown casserole as my two sides and used mental judo to procure a 3rd, side order of corn pudding(the hunger is strong with this one)! I was gonna say everything was delicious, but I didn't get everything! And little did I know, my hunger was strong , but someone else's was stronger ?!! I finished eating first, so I went up street to get truck . They texted ,I pulled up to pick up . "Clyde" was taking longer to get in, and "Bonnie" informed me he was still eating! What?,you ask,was he eating? Please, allow me. [Pie = Everything !!] When you ordered the special, for special boys like me (I refuse to acknowledge just anyone can get the special), you get a piece of complimentary pie. In my rear view, outside the restaurant, in the street, holding up traffic is the pie stealer himself, a grin from ear to ear that's smeared with crust crumbles and pecan goodness! I blame Biancke's !! Their food is delicious! But the pie is so good , you may lose a friend !!

This was our first visit to Biancke's. It was not a great experience but not totally turned off to another visit. Our waitress was busy running the cash register while we waited on our food, about 30 minutes. My smothered chicken was dry and would not order again. The roasted Brussels sprouts were excellent. The atmosphere definitely gave you a hometown feel. Everyone was really friendly. We will try again.Wheelchair accessibility: I noticed there was a step up into the main entrance but did not look for an accessible entrance.

They have been cooking up food at this wonderful restaurant since 1894, serving everything from burgers to steak, plus a daily special. It is all delicious. Make sure you save room for some of the best homemade pie, my personal favorite is the butterscotch. If you find yourself in Cynthiana stop in for a great meal.

Great restaurant with a great deal of history. Service and food were outstanding. My husband has eaten here on several occasions. We’ll be back! My husband had their meatloaf dinner. It was great. Home cooking at its best!

We were glad to find a local place serving breakfast on a Sunday morning. Good food. Very cool space. May have been a little short-staffed. It was a wait to place our order, but all was timely after that.Parking: Public spots a half-block walk along with street parking.
