Wonderful relaxed dive in downtown cynthiana. Wife and I have visited several times. One of the best places in town to catch live music.

Really enjoyed our stop here. Grilled pork. Cornbread and corn. All really good. Great meal. Don’t bother with the homemade potato chips. All the high school pictures on the wall made it really homey.

A great place to hang out with friends for drinks and good food. There is always something fun happening at the station, Trivia With Trent, Live Music or watching sports on one of the TV's. The bartenders are great and all of the staff is friendly! I can't wait for warmer weather so that the patio can open back up.
Good place
The wife and I ate at this beautiful historic diner yesterday during a local festival. The building had a perfect historic charm, the food was just like home cooking, and the staff were absolutely amazing. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and had just a touch of southern sass that really made the experience fun. This gorgeous small town tends to have a lot of local events, and Biancke’s will be our go-to lunch spot for all of them.
Read good things about the breakfast in this restaurant in Cynthiana, Ky., and wasn’t disappointed. Plentiful food that was really good. Maybe too plentiful! The mound of home fries on my plate was enough for a family of four to enjoy! Service was a little slow, but they were busy and well, we all know you can’t find people to work these days. My one wish: Get better coffee! Part of what makes eating breakfast out is good coffee. Yours is not.
Nice small bar .
Stacy was fantastic bartender when I was in there and everyone was so nice
my fave bar/restaurant in Ky. great bar tender and server...sweating over freshly squeezed lemonade...even with paper cuts. 😉 my grandfather Joe Fitzgerald use to own it. many Fitzgerald gatherings for the holidays. Amazing food! I plan on trying the unique drinks at the bar , which i havent yet out of respect for my mother...who i go there often with. Rock on!

As a former resident of Cynthiana, I was eager to return to try the food and recapture past dining experiences. The service was great, but the food was disappointing. The hot brown was not up to par and truly wasn’t that appetizing and was not literally hot. The hash brown casserole was also cold. Took home two slices of pie which did hit the spot. Probably will not go back anytime soon. I will think back to the times went there with my parents and grandparents when the food was hot and seasoned. The menu was more home cooking rather than relying on processed and frozen items.
Besides having good food, and drinks, on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 Jim Beers is entertaining. His deep voice and soulful interpretation of both "covers" and his own music are definitely worth hearing. Its a combination of a bluesy, country jazz style that at times when a subtle vibrato creeps in at the end of a poignant phrase, will capture your attention and please the ear.
I heard good things about this place, read some good and so-so reviews, I had read from many locals that new owners had taken over and it was not as good and now much more expensive, I agree with both things after we had early Dinner, the Roast beef, open faced made my Wife a little sick, my Burger was just OK at best, it was big and looked great, but not that good and I have Burger blog i do reviews from Cincinnati, to Lexington on for over 35 years now, so I know my burgers, this one was not good, we won't be back.
Stacy was amazing...
