The restaurant is Wendy’s Place. Came in yesterday morning at 9am and they were closed. Wendy the owner still gave me delicious food and some coffee even though they didn’t open for another hour.

Arrived and was greeted very well. I got water and Country Boy breakfast with loaded hash browns. I noticed the cook put some food in a microwave and he took it out and that plate and the rest came to my table.
The loaded hash browns had a slice of American cheese laid right across the center and was barely melted. That was the use of the microwave. By the time it got to me the cheese had cooled enough that the hash browns and peppers had stuck to the cheese.
There were people that appeared to be regulars or just all knew each other. Didn't care a single bit what they said around people. Overheard 2 grown men going on and on about someone being "retarded" and saying all sorts of stuff. Not the fault of the restaurant what customers say, but maybe address that people watch what they say. The environment and food just wanted all that and honestly it was all overpriced. The biscuits and gravy I ordered was actually really good though. I just didn't want to be there so I paid my bill and left.
Not a place I will visit again unless stuff changes.

Not kid friendly!! Specifically to disabled/challenged children and selective adults. Horrible attitudes when dealing with refunds when they double charge your card which also shows lack of knowledge when dealing with their pos systems. Ability to be professional is non existent. Food is just average otherwise it's their judgment and negativity that ruins any good taste to come from their kitchen, not fair to kitchen staff, but the front house/management is what sets the tone for everything. Failure to preform the bare minimum only makes a regret to waste money here as there is also risk of not getting your money back when they double charge. Anywhere else would be better than this establishment.

This place is no family restaurant. My two young grand children age 3 and 1 1/2 years old were being children and of course hungry and the waitress stated that children were not allowed to be there and that my grand kids where way to loud. Others in that restaurant were screaming and hollowing at them babies only because they were playing with one another they were being kids. This place is very disrespectful and definitely not family inviting and absolutely no southern hospitality. Recommend 0/0.

Ordered Chili Cheese fry’s, And they were disgusting I got sick to my stomach I believe I may have gotten food poisoning, Never eating here again it’s expensive the prices are outrageous and the food made me sick literally. Dairy Queen is cheaper than this dump.

Ok the catfish looked amazing we saw served. The roast beet and steak burger was fabulous. If you're near Dawson Springs it's worth a stop to eat here!!
