This is a fun old fashioned soda shop with lots of old toys and drinks along the walls. The food is excellent and they have a lot of choices. They had a catfish plate special the day we went. The sandwiches are very good and you can get a real old fashioned banana split.

A friend and I went for lunch. It was our first time in.We both got the cheese burger, she got regular fries and I got the sweet potato fries. The waitress brought out a cup of caramel for the sweet potato fries and OMG it tasted amazing. I would have never thought of that. The atmosphere is very welcoming. From the staff to the other customers. We will definitely be back

Stopped for ice cream. Huge tasty shakes that overflowed the glass. Kind of messy. Expensive for a treat because you end up with essentially two shakes. Would prefer something smaller for a lower price.

The manager is sooo rude and hateful. I tried to put some money on the counter for the waitress..... and the manager hollered out in front of everyone that I can't go back there, referring to behind the counter, I wasn't even behind the counter. She is rude to the employees and some of the costumers. If I didn't have kids working there and my need to check on them here and there, I'd never return. I try to go when she isn't there. Only a 3 because of the manager. The other employees were amazing.

Came here after a shoot at Todd County. It was full, but the waiter was quick at finding us a table. We ordered the catfish special, and even though it was packed, it came out quick. It came with a large bowl of amazing white beans, and a bowl of coleslaw. The beans were warm and very meaty. The meal came with two whole fillets of delicious catfish, crispy and warm. It was a a huge, fresh meal at only around 11 dollars.

The part of our order we received was delicious. However, the other part of our order was delivered to another table and no one ever checked on us or anything to see how we were and that we never received the rest of our order. And then no apology! Ended up of course very disappointed, especially since we were on vacation and enjoying the theme and ambiance of this old, neat ice cream soda shop.
