We were heading home back to Georgia and had never had White Castle and wanted to give it a shot and see how it compares to Krystal. We tried a few different choices like the standard burger and chicken sandwich. In comparison, they don't put mustard on their sandwiches. That's standard and if you request it. The best you will get is the packets. Their mustard is the brown mustard versus the yellow mustard Krystal uses. The actual flavor between the 2 burgers is very comparable. I'd be good with either. The only problem with the burgers would be the mustard...Krystal's yellow mustard and willingness to put it on your burgers definitely wins. Chicken sandwich, Krystal's chik is wins. White Castle definitely takes it with some of the variety such as cheese sticks and onion flakes. This location though was hot inside and felt dirty just walking in. This was further demonstrated by the mold in the ice in the drink machine. They had no sweet tea except what was in the coke machine. Additionally, they do not offer a military discount where many Krystals do. I'd hope this isn't the standard for White Castles. With this example, I'd prefer Krystal over White Castle.

I have always wanted to try the Valentine's Day dinner at white castle. I have to say I was not disappointed in anyway. Me and my wife are going to make this a tradition for many years to come! We continue to talk about it and how happy we were for the whole experience! Our server Brian was top notch more than pleased. Thanks to everyone at the erlanger white castle you made our day!
