This place is super peaceful and down to earth. It’s off the beaten path so don’t be surprised when you disappear into the forest, it’s a good thing, let it happen. Enjoy the brews.

Finally made it here and loved it! The beer was great, the owner is a down to earth cool guy that definitely makes you feel welcome(and his mom), the charcuterie board was on point, and the vibe was perfect. I've been to a lot of breweries but this was one of my favorite experiences, did I mention the beer is great? :-) We had this stop planned before heading over to Lexington and now I wish I would have just stayed here. No food truck the day we were there but they normally have one. When you see the sign and turn on the gravel driveway, you're not lost....just keep going and you will find it! I'll be back, hopefully soon!

This place is a hidden gem! There is a sign off of Mount Pleasant Road that will show you the way (both Apple Maps and Google Maps were not very accurate with the location, so make sure to pay attention to the sign). Continue down the long gravel driveway and you’ll reach this adorable destination. There are plenty of options for seating, so grab a beer (or two) and relax for a while. We opted for a flight, which was $15, and enjoyed it on the covered porch while it was raining. They also had someone cooking food while we were there, although I’m not sure how often that is available. Be sure to check out their Facebook page to find out about upcoming events and live music schedule.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! We randomly came across Turtleback Ridge on google maps while planning a roadtrip over to Shenandoah. Fate would have it that it was exactly halfway! We camped nearby and spent a full evening here. The beers speak for themselves - wonderful. The cider held its own as well. Better yet, the peacefulness on the farm and the wonderful company found in the tasting room and on the porch really made this a stop to remember. We were ready to postpone our roadtrip and stay another day! I can't wait to pass back through here with each roadtrip to the east - even if it's a major detour! Thanks so much for the hospitality to the staff and owner. I wish you much success and look forward to stopping in again soon!

Best brewery in KY with an atmosphere second to none. If I lived closer I would be a regular. Worth the trip from wherever you are.

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel around the country and drink more craft beer than any sane person should over the last decade. Honest to goodness though, Turtleback Ridge is on my Mount Rushmore of breweries. I had two flights and tried each beer on tap. All of them were fantastic but the Biere de Mars and Honey Saison stood out the most. I also bought a few bottles of Appalachian Surrealism and it was absolutely delicious as well. The beer stands out, without a doubt, but it was the people who have brought this brewery to life that made a lasting impression on me. My dad and I closed the tasting room down while meeting new people and making lifelong memories. If you’re anywhere near Turtleback Ridge, make the trip.

Had the best time here! Great beer and people. We missed a turn and while driving down Old Blue Lick Google maps said we had arrived when we had not. Just FYI in case you miss the turn for Mount Pleasant Road.

Great place!!! Wonderful hosts. But GOOGLE maps sucks. Really Google can’t figure it out. Call turtleback for directions. Great place!

This is a small secluded brewery with great beer and excellent service. Go here if you get the chance. I reserve 5 stars for places that pleasantly surprise me and Turtle Back Ridge Brewery did just that.

Getting there was a challenge but once we found the place we enjoyed it very much. Google maps was not reliable. If you know someone who has been there ask for directions. It's worth the drive.
