Grayson Landing Restaurant

This restaurant is a hidden gem in a great area. Nearby there is a lodge, lake, woods, hiking trail, and most importantly for my visits -- an airstrip just a short walk up the road. I have flown in several times to experience the area and every meal I've had has included excellent food and service. Friday nights (at least during the summer) and Sunday brunch are buffet service; other times we've ordered off the menu. The place feels like a bit of a blast from the past -- in a good way.

We love to eat here But went Sun for breakfast, 8:15 to be exact, I understand you may of been busy earlier. But the breakfast bar Needed attention, no bacon,1-sausage patty, no Gravy. Please if you want people to eat a breakfast bar Refill it. I brought to the waitresses attention ? Finally a dark hair guy put 4 sausage patties & 6 pc bacon & small amount gravy out. 4 older couples came in after us. Kept walking around bar. If you only Serving $5 worth of eggs & grits. Then I won't be back

My bad. Went on a Friday when their meats are seafood and BBQ. Not my favorite. Will try again on Saturday night. Loved it though. Vegetables were good

Great lunch buffet!

Good place for a great dinner when staying at Rough River Dam. Good service, quiet, staff is professional, and the food is plentiful. Had their catfish, and it was juicy and piled high.

So we flew in as there is an airstrip .3 miles from the restaurant. Cool place to eat for pilots and some nice hiking to do afterwards.

This is a very nice, clean restaurant. The ladies that waited on us were very kind. The food was awesome. My husband and I had traveled over 50 miles to listen to music that night and had heard wonderful things about this place and we were not disappointed. We will be coming back in September with friends and family.

We went for the Saturday buffet. They were supposed to have brisket and ribs. We got there 2 hours before they closed and they were out of both. The mashed potatoes were like a rock, desserts were horrible. Small children were running around the buffet. Our server was wonderful though. We will not return.

I was so pleasantly shocked to see they had vegetarian options on the menu! Amazing staff, Taylor + Becky both accommodated my dietary restrictions and were extremely personable. I’d recommend to anyone!

Vegetarian options: They had a vegetarian burger on the menu and also adjusted the buffet price for me since I wasn’t eating any of the meat.

My husband called in advanced to see what they were placing on the buffet tonight. It was Father's Day weekend! We arrived and was looking forward to trying the stuff crab, when we went up to get some food, they already ran out of the stuff crab, and it wasn't even 7:30 pm and the worker placing food said they had no more. So, we didn't even get to try that. The Dessert selection wasn't nothing to write home about people went ham on it. They didn't place anything fresh out for the Desserts either, we asked the waitress, and she said what was out was all they had, they had more customers coming in too. I was disappointed in that. It is usually good. The Ribs are good, but they ran out of them too and placed clam strips out!

Food was excellent, great selection of desserts....ample selection on the steam table as well !

Great facility in a great location, but the food was terrible. I think I’d have to try extra hard to create food this bad. Sorry Grayson Landing Resort, I wanted to love it, but just keeping it real. Please up your food quality so this unique experience can survive!
