This restaurant is a hidden gem in a great area. Nearby there is a lodge, lake, woods, hiking trail, and most importantly for my visits -- an airstrip just a short walk up the road. I have flown in several times to experience the area and every meal I've had has included excellent food and service. Friday nights (at least during the summer) and Sunday brunch are buffet service; other times we've ordered off the menu. The place feels like a bit of a blast from the past...
Good place for a great dinner when staying at Rough River Dam. Good service, quiet, staff is professional, and the food is plentiful. Had their catfish, and it was juicy and piled high.
This is a very nice, clean restaurant. The ladies that waited on us were very kind. The food was awesome. My husband and I had traveled over 50 miles to listen to music that night and had heard wonderful things about this place and we were not disappointed. We will be coming back in September with friends and family.
