Usually my reviews are good but unfortunately after my meal today I will look for other bbq places,paid $17 bucks for the brisket meal and it says "piled with brisket" but was literally 1 piece and maybe 6 bites,all my other visits have been good except this one.

This place is amazing. Looked for a place to go nearby the Ark and this was only 30 minutes. Boy was it worth it. The half slab of ribs filled the whole platter, and there were six amazing sauces right on the table. There’s a jukebox, it has a kid friendly atmosphere, and when my kids said they were full, they ate ribs like they had a “desert stomach”. Besides those words, I’m completely speechless.

We googled for BBQ after visiting The Ark Adventure. It was a short 30 minute drive and so worth it. We loved everything about it. The storefront was very inviting. The atmosphere was very chill. The tabletops were made from old bowling alley lanes. Plenty of TVs if you wanted to watch a sport event. The menu had plenty of options and the prices were very affordable. But the best was yet to come, the Food!! I ordered a slab of ribs and a loaded potato with pulled pork and cheese.It was perfect!!! The best ribs I've eaten in decades. My wife and kids loved all their meals with zero complaints. The waitress was awesome and the restrooms were very clean. The only disappointed was realizing we live 300 miles away and wont be able to come back anytime soon. I'd rate this place a 10/10. Thank you The Smoking Pig Tavern for the perfect night night with my family.

the bbq has a great taste but it is so grease the grease was dripping off all my food it may be a while before I want to go back

Sat down for 15 minutes before we got our drink order. Potato skins were soggy, brisket was tough, and the hamburger was no better than Burger King. Everything needed salt and pepper. They also charge an extra fee for paying by card. Not worth the money at all.

Pull Pork was some of the best we have had in a while. The beer battered Onion Rings were AWESOME . Loved all different BQ causes. Service was great and nice. Would come here again for sure!!

Great atmosphere and service. Great music. Great smoked meat. Great BBQ sauces. Subtracting a star for the standard grocery store chips for the nachos and the artificial cheese, though maybe that's to be expected in a small town in Kentucky.
The loaded potato with pulled pork was delicious, my daughter had the kids tenders and she ate them all when she normally doesn’t finish one. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful I just wish I would have gotten her name. This was our first visit but we will definitely be back more often
