9 Best Barbeque Restaurants near Fort Campbell

“KC born and raised, nobody beats BBQ in K.C., so on this trip to Tennessee I figured what do they know about BBQ, they maybe know whiskey but not BBQ. Today we went to the Soul Food BBQ, BBQ food truck on Fort Campbell and I got 2 plates one for lunch and one for dinner. For lunch I ate the 1/2lb Smoked Sausage, Memphis style. I don't like coleslaw and I don't like BBQ sauce, I'm more of a dry rub guy. Let me tell you something this right here was DELICIOUS and I got to have this again that cole slaw and BBQ sauce on this sausage was a hit. I also got the Texas Sandwich and chose Brisket and Pulled Pork and since I was gonna eat it later asked for the bread to be separate, which they did. I am not a huge brisket fan but man this sandwich was great and I loved the brisket. If you are at Fort Campbell and not eating here your missing out, get up and get there tomorrow. I don't think this is Tennessee BBQ but rather Texas BBQ and by law I am suppose to hate it, with that said there is only one other Texas BBQ I would put up against Kansas City BBQ (Nauling Texas BBQ) this place here is up there with them. I got to figure out the next time I can get down here for some more of this.“

“Texas Roadhouse has gone down since they opened. It used to be a great place to eat at. From the hostess just sitting there talking about how to do their hair instead of sitting people. You tell someone 10 minutes till sitting after already been in the wait list and it takes 40 mins to finally sit us.Not busy busy had a lot of dirty tables that could be cleaned off but weren't. While walking to our table we saw over 5 tables that needed to be clean. My highschooler even noticed you passing us up to sit us multiple times. The excuse was that they didn't have a table big enough even though 3 families on the same side were sat. Our bread was uncooked mostly.The Steak was cooked wrong. What happened to Texas Roadhouse because it's going downhill?“

“We purchased Pulled Pork, Chicken Halves, Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, and Potato Salad for my son’s 18th birthday party. Everything was DELICIOUS and everyone complemented how good everything was. The Chicken Halves were a HUGE hit, the meat just fell off the bone. So glad we decided to purchase from Knockum Hill.“

“I am from Atlanta, I had a bad experience at a dickeys in Alpharetta. The food was grossed. I said I would never eat at dickeys again. The food didn't taste smoked or grilled. It was bland. Since I moved to clarksville I realized when I'm door dashing a lot of people order from dickeys. I tried it and I must say, the food was good, season, and smoked. I most definitely will be a customer.“

“The catfish is absolutely delicious, the pieces are huge, the Mac and cheese is also delicious. And according to my boyfriend, the chitterlings are on point ( I haven't heard a peep and half his plate is already gone)“

“The food here is so delicious! Truly one of the best meals we’ve shared here in Clarksville. The waitstaff were also very kind and on top of their game. Excited to come again and we’ll definitely have to try out the other floors of the trio. 10/10!
