The PX is an interesting mini mall-like place in Fort Campbell. I was impressed with gardening decor/ items, outdoor furniture, and plants. Shopping for clothes, electronics, and household goods is always a pleasure here. The boutiques and vendors have a lot of enticing items. It is a place that I like to bring my friends and family to when they visit. Deals are always available on a monthly basis. We were very happy with our television purchase here a couple of months ago . We received a massive discount on it from coupons and deals.

Not the Boston market food I had. It was late so probably not fresh. The corn tasted old and dry.

Ate at Sakura and the first thing I noticed was the tea was different from the Sakura in FL. Also they don’t warm up the veggies. The staff was friendly.

AAFES Main Post Exchange (PX) located on Ft. Campbell, KY. It's really an Army and Air Force version of a nice department store. In a civilian version, it might resemble something like Kohl's or Macy's. It also includes a garden center like Home Depot or Lowe's. It's not a discount store since most of the merchandize sold here are that of name-brand items. Since there's no sales tax added, it usually is a better deal than shopping at most of off-post retail stores for this reason (and for this reason only). It further enhances your buying powers during occasional sales periods. There are several restaurants/eateries on premise in the food court at this location: Popeye's Chicken, Boston Market, Berger King, etc. open from 1030 to 1900. Barber shop is located here also (open 9-6). Currently military haircut is $9. There's also a spa and hair salon. There are other variety shops and kiosks. Sales taxes are assessed by these vendors.

There's not a way to just review the spa in the PX, so I'll just use it here. I have really difficult eyebrows to work with and I'm always super nervous about who does them. I am friends with the main esthetician, but if she did a terrible job, I'd have no problem saying it. Which is great, because Erin, the main esthetician, did a PHENOMENAL job with my eyebrows. One is thicker than the other, shaped different, etc. Its so weird, but she had no problems at all working with my eyebrows! We've only been in the area for 6 months and I've definitely found my go-to for eyebrows and anything spa/esthetics related!!

Nothing special here. You have your typicals stationed haglin you to buy stuff they made in their backyard with brand new prices. Food court sometimes have flies hovering over you so I never really eat there. The main px have the basics not really anything you couldn't find at walmart.

This is a pretty typical post exchange. You can get some higher end merchandise here, and the prices are a little steep. If you shop sales, use coupons, and shop clearance you can get a pretty good deal since it's tax free.

Can't hate...no tax. This is my spot to purchase perfume and nail polish the prices are better especially on essie and o.p.i. Also I buy my higher ticket items like iPads {no tax+price match= super deal}. On Black Friday I take all the adds to px for the best deal and I'm to lazy to go to more than one store with the crazyness.

it's ok, just another department store in an Army base...nothing special

Why is it that the PX is almost always empty despite aisle after aisle of goods? Because the price is high-despite their advertising that no sales tax is benefit. They have rows of cash registers but lines at least 10 deep at the three that happen to be open while small herds of vest clad employees complain how it's only a quarter past 5 and that they need to leave. I'll pay the 10% sales tax to deal with it quicker service, more selection and less crowds.
