Beer was great of course, but the burgers are pretty bland and depend on the toppings 100%. They're bi sliders so no need to double up, Apparently when ordering on the touch screen the $4 double patty only applies to 1 slider!! So great beer, nice location, food is meh.
Scooter blood orange is my go to here. Staff is excellent and other choices available
Great beer selection!
Really good beer, and the setup with the food truck outside is awesome! My wife and I had to move outside because there were so many children running around and screaming inside that we couldn't hear each other. Felt more like a daycare than a brewery.
Beer is just ok. Nothing special. Sliders were good.
Amazing beer, it worth to swing by there.
Braxton Barrel House in Covington, KY, was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. This place offers a great atmosphere with a fantastic selection of beers, and the vibe is casual and welcoming. We tried a few of their barrel-aged brews, and they did not disappoint—smooth, flavorful, and really well-crafted.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, eager to share their recommendations and give us a taste before we decided. The space itself is spacious and comfortable, perfect for enjoying a cold one with friends or just relaxing.
Overall, Braxton Barrel House is a must-visit if you're in the area. It was one of the best stops of our trip, and I’m definitely looking forward to coming back next time we’re in town!
We were really looking forward to the Derby party 2025, but it ended up being a huge letdown. The event was poorly executed from start to finish. The bartender was unimpressive and barely engaged with guests. The one Derby cocktail we did try was mediocre at best. To make matters worse, there was no audio for the actual race; something that they had been heavily promoted as part of the experience. It completely killed the atmosphere and made it feel like an afterthought rather than a real celebration. We left after just one drink, feeling disappointed and frustrated. Save your money and time; this was far from the festive, well-run Derby event we had expected.
I was their last night and I tried the salted caramel imperial stout because the band playing their called the Wayward J's reccomeddd it during a video
We’ve been exploring local fish fries during Lent, and Braxton Barrel House is our favorite! Braxton offers a lively atmosphere with a bar, but another highlight is the food. Their large fish fillet has the perfect crispy breading—not too heavy—and the toasted bun with butter is a great touch. Plus, they have hush puppies, which was a big win for us since some places only offered fries or green beans. Highly recommend!

The beer is good but their hours are never correct. They will close sometimes for private events or they open later than what is advertised. We have showed up several times and had to leave because they aren't open during posted hours. Poorly run business.
This was my first time there. I went there for the Lenton fish. The fish was excellent. The fries are seasoned nicely. And of course, any kind of beer you can think of is there. I highly recommend this place.
Love the venue! Awesome beers and friendly service! Sid was very helpful and offered great suggestions! We even got beer to go!
Friendly staff and good beer! Also liked the taco truck parked out front.
Went for burger week, tried smoke house and classic sliders, not worth my time or 7 dollars for two, worse place so far, all four of the sliders were all dried up, like rubber balls and almost choked, everywhere else I have been the burgers have been excellent, wish I didn't go here !!
