The waitress, Melissa was very good. I ordered the prime rib special and they seared my prime rib, which made it really dry. In fact, I only ate half of it. Next time I will have to remember that you make a practice of searing the prime rib. Sitting outside was lovely. 
Requested outdoor seating for party of 8. They tried to squeeze us into some tables pushed together. We spotted an empty round table for 8 a few steps away. Begrudgingly, they did move us but the question remains - why not put us at a more comfortable table to start with? It was available, it sat 8, better seating for conversation and one guest didn't have to sit with a concrete pillar right behind them. Aside from all that, the food and service was very good and our family...
This was our first time at Grandview Tavern. We sat on the patio so we could enjoy the live music during dinner. Our food was amazing (highly recommend the Salad with Salmon), and our server went over the top! We will definitely be back!
