Soco's was a dandy local Mexican restaurant located in Fort Mitchell Kentucky. It was a rather small joint but had a rather vast menu of all sorts of Mexican favourites. We started with an appetizer of one of our Mexican staples; that being the Chori-Queso (they named it the "Queso Con Chorizo.") It was a great balance of the cheese and chorizo and made for a dandy dip. First time there under the new name. Didn’t seem quite right when the chunky salsa didn’t taste the same as when it was Montoya’s. Wife usually cleans her plate but only ate half of her dinner. I noticed a different taste to the ranchero sauce, not as good.
