“This place is flawless! We got the privilege to experience Anjou tonight, and we saw firsthand why it has nothing but 5 star reviews! The location, the aesthetic, the lighting, the service, and the drinks... all were incredible. We sat at the bar (which if you've been following me, you know we prefer ?), and it was perfect. The staff are very personable, knowledgeable, and down to earth, and they made great conversation. They're also down to make you any cocktail that you'd like (even if it's not on the menu); that went a long way with me. We had 3 on the menu and 3 not on the menu, and we loved every single one. “I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. Next time I am in town I will definitely return here.“

I organized a corporate holiday party here, and Megan was such an amazing partner in the coordination from start to finish! The actual event exceeded ALL expectations! Megan, Emily and Jean Luc were an all star team! This is my third year organizing this event and this was absolutely THE BEST! THE Fermentorium checks ALL THE BOXES!!! “One of my favorite places to eat. I love the food. Wine selection is good. Service is good.
I have two issues with this place.
#1. They charge $10 cork fee per bottle of wine on everyday but Thursday. That’s a crime. They claim that their wine is cheaper than other places so it justifies the cork fee, but that’s simply not true. I can get most of them cheaper at Krogers. I don’t agree with being penalized $10 per bottle to drink it there. Therefore I rarely go there any longer unless it’s a Thursday. They could at least cut it back to one $10 fee per night.
#2. When they have a live band they bring the tip jar around to each table and expect you to tip the band. I know where the tip jar is and I usually tip the band, but I don’t like how they somewhat force you to tip them by bringing it to your table. Especially when I’m trying to eat my food.

“Inviting atmosphere with great coffee and even better service.

I Stumbled upon this cafe on google and learned that it is one of the few coffee shops that are open late into the evening. As soon as i walked in, i noticed that the pillows in top of the seating rows and the great cozy atmosphere that allows people to work while minding their business which is the perfect mix for a coffee spot!

They have a downstairs too and both floors have a patio area which I will try once the weather gets warmer. The downstairs is a more quiet environment but the main floor is filled with vibes and background conversations so it offers both ambiances that a cafe often calls for.

The selection of wine has depth which makes it a good spot to hangout even after the coffee hours are gone.

As a latino, i loved seeing the empanadas on their menu which is a great snack or meal and goes well with coffee.

I ordered the usual, dark toast drip coffee, yet again and the flavor was a bit on the robust side with a hint of bitterness but delicious nonetheless. I had more than three refills of it and was more awake than a meth head at 3 pm in the afternoon!

The barista was so sweet and was more than happy to take care of my refills every time i stepped up to the bar!

“A dive bar type of place with a cozy basic atmosphere. Drinks are cheap for a downtown bar in Covington KY. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is not served but several restaurants are nearby or one can bring food into the bar. Happy hour is unparalleled for it seems to cover all types of drinks. This is not the usual for places that have happy hour. Seating is ample plus space exists to stand.“

The beer selection was adequate and excellent quality of the beers that were on tap. I would have preferred more Chimay's on tap but would still rate the selection excellent. Other locations for Taste of Belgium do have a wider variety. It is a fun airy and sunny atmosphere.“
