Stopped in while we were in the area for the evening on the recommendation of a friend who lives nearby. What a fun place and delicious, fresh food! They has a vegetarian protein option that was really good! Great, friendly service! Relaxed atmosphere. Kid friendly. Would definitely come again!

One of my new favorite restaurants. The owners Michael and Latisha were so nice and made us feel like family. The Diego was the rockstar of the meal, a true must get. Don’t even get me started on the queso or the Taco Tuesday deals. Simply a new favorite and a new go to for me and my family!!

1/25/2025 First time here. Wonderful experience. The food was incredible. We had 2 special items for the week..the chicken tortilla soup and Alambre tacos. Food was fresh and extremely flavorful. The taco tortilla was lightly fried and was crispy, not gummy like most. We had the Elote(corn off the cob) topped with a lime Crema maybe that was the best I have ever had. Margarita was delicious and a large glass was only $9.00. The place looks small from the outside but dining room is open and pretty large. This will be on our rotation list of places to eat at least every two weeks! Mark and Tiffany

We love this place!! The food is amazing and the owners are great people! We eat there at LEAST once a week! I recommend everything! The queso, beef tacos, shrimp tacos, quesadillas, burritos. It’s all delicious.

I absolutely love this place! I had the El Zapata taco with beef and we shared the chicken nachos. Both were SO delicious! I hope they are making tons of money, because they are working so hard and putting out such a delicious product!

Their Branzino taco is the best I've ever had. The fish is perfectly cooked and flaky, the skin on the outside is crisped to perfection, the vegetable balance is perfect and the crunch complements the fish without peer. This is the best special they have, and if you see this being offered - get it.

The jaguar nachos are really good, order them for a group or for yourself, they've got it down.

Get anything with the barbacoa in it, they do an outstanding job!

Their service is fast and consistently amazing, and the folks down there are always friendly.

It's right by Fort Thomas Coffee, which is lauded for their incredible coffee selection. Hello Honey ice cream parlor is a natural choice for an excellent dessert. ADC Fine Art gallery is two doors down, and they have an amazing space to take in some fine art after your meal.

I'm happy that Comal is out in Fort Thomas delivering the best tacos in town!

Highly recommend this place! Award winning chef, fresh ingredients, creative menu and unique cocktails. This place is always on our short list when we are picking a place to go out.The chef/owners, Michael & Leticia, are always friendly and inviting.

We stop into Comal every chance we get and always have a great experience. The food is fresh and delicious, service is friendly and quick whether dining in or carrying out. They have options for the adventurous and more risk averse palettes. Our kids love the games and open front window to the sidewalk. :)Also - I can’t leave a review without mentioning the margaritas! This is the ONLY frozen margarita I crave. It’s not too sweet or sour and makes any day a little brighter. Highly recommend!
