The most horrible Derby experience at any casino ever! Absolutely no sound on any of the monitors. No riders up. No trumpet call. No singing My Old Kentucky home. We asked several employees to please turn on the sound for at least the race call and they would not!!!!! We expected long lines and happy celebrations but this place was sour all around. Impossible drink lines rude employees and no Kentucky experience what so ever. This racino should be banned from even calling itself a Kentucky partner. Will never go back.
This is the place is the worst keep driving for food and entertainment. you will be disappointed guaranteed.
Was made to park a vehicle and a small trailer 1/2 mile away and walk back to the restaurant, don’t come here with a trailer. Waited an hour for mediocre food. Worst place on town. If you’re looking for an experience that leaves everyone in a sour mood, stresses and never wanting to come back, here is your place. Enjoy.
Waited for subpar food from a staff that could care less if we got what we ordered. When asked if the meal delivered was a mushroom and Swiss burger gave me a blank stare turned a left the table, one person not an issue. But 6 people getting a meal? I’d like to know what I’m getting. Btw. Not a mushroom burger. Not even for the table. Yay for the service.

you need to spend 30 to play these kiosk games which typically pay 5-7 dollars. You can never get a cup of coffee or a soft drink without having to search for the drink people... get self serve drink stations like most casinos. Not sure trust the drawings as some guy won twice last week. It should go by whoever has their cards in 5 min before the drawing and the computer picks randomly. I Ohio when they had internet cafes a red ball would bounce on all the screens and stop on the winner... much more exciting and fair
I love their chicken livers. The last couple of times I was there, they have been over-cooked. Today, 12-3-24, I ordered them, while there, around 4:15, and they were the best I have ever had there. They were wonderful. Not over cooked at all, cooked just right! Kudos to whoever the new cook is, You rocked it!!

I purchased the steak and eggs breakfast at the Corner Cafe inKentucky Downs for $25 this morning. I'm not a complainer, but wish I had complained and handed the breakfast back for a refund instead of trying to eat it. The steak was so tough the coffee sloshed out of my cup onto the table as I was trying to cut the meat. The meat was cooked medium, as i had ordered and it had a good flavor, so I worked diligently and ate about 3/4 of it. The eggs were great, just a little overcooked. But the hashbrowns were horrible. They had a terrible taste which I think may have been grill cleaner. I didn't even eat one bite. The coffee wasn't really very good either. I was thoroughly disappointed since I drove about 12 miles out of my way to eat there because the same meal at the Mint in Bowling Green was top notch. When I left i told the cashier for that price breakfast they should be serving a higher quality piece of steak. I may return because the staff was very nice, but no more steak breakfast for me there

The service here is abysmally bad. No matter if I was ordering a simple cup of coffee or a meal, the waiting time to order AND receive a meal is unacceptably horrible. I can’t understand why and how the management doesn’t realize this.

We were in the Cafe last night 8/30. It took us 1.25 hours to get our food. Other people who were in line behind us received their food before us. Then when we got our food it was burnt and the hamburgers were soy burgers. This was nasty food! Will never eat there again. The manager was rude and nasty.

Food is great.. whenever you get it. Been coming here for years and it’s only gotten worse! I’ve mentioned it to management MULTIPLE times and get the same lame excuse on whatever the reason it is that day. When is this place going to learn how to efficiently run a restaurant??

The only reason this isn’t 1 star is because of Taryn on the register. She was the only fast moving, friendly person there. I have never in my life witnessed such overall unhappiness of a restaurant team. What is the problem with opening a second register when you have a line of 15 guests and at least 9 employees working?!? The service is horrible (except for Taryn)

It was pretty good ?
My husband and I receive “free” food credits due to being “Platinum” members. But let’s be honest here. Is it really free? You have to earn points via spending money to obtain a certain tier membership. Neither here nor there. We’ve utilized our “ free” meals each month since February. Out of the 12 meals, maybe 3 of them were good. More times than not it’s mediocre and atleast a “hot meal”. They’ve lost our order and had us wait almost 2 hours before realizing they had lost our order- wasn’t very apologetic at all. The kitchen manager who appears to be barely 18 offered another comped meal due to the situation. The very next meal we ordered was terrible. The rice in the teriyaki bowl was complete mush. Because it’s late and considered “free” we’ve given this place several tries. This last time will be our absolute last time for sure. We arrived at 10pm. Placed our order and waited 40 mins. When the young lady brought our food our, the biscuit that comes my husbands meal was hard as a rock. I literally could have thrown it and broke a window with it. No exaggeration. I politely brought it to the waitresses attention and with a straight face she says that there’s nothing she can do about it. It’s the end of the night and they are all going to be that way. They weren’t just going to make fresh ones. So trying not to be a “Karen”, I walked way. Until I noticed her being rude to an older couple that was sitting in front of us. So I asked to speak to the manager. Long story short. He also stated that it was the end of the night. He also stated he wouldn’t eat it either but there wasn’t really anything he could do about it. It just baffles me that customer service has come to this. No pride in their work or concern whatsoever for the customer. Kitchen management is just as bad. I will say there is lady that works there that is very sweet and does a great job. It’s a shame she has to deal with the frustration that she does because the kitchen staff and management just doesn’t care at all.
