I really enjoyed this place, the burgers are so good! Their spinich and other stuff was really good, And I really liked their pies! However, I will not be returning to them after they change the restaurant like they are planning to. A pizza and sub place? That's not the hot plate I knew. Very very very disappointed that they're changing. Letting down a big amount of their customers! My family and I have been coming for years, I guess that's changing

The food was really good! The Country Fried Steak is what I tried and I will recommend that dish!Hash-browns were cooked perfectly! Crunchy but soft in the middle!I ordered a side of the country potatoes and they were good to but I will stick to the hash-browns.I never order biscuits and gravy but they came with the order and they were so good! I also tried one of the biscuits with just Jam I have to recommend these to!Staff was helpful and were attentive.Prices were good for...

We annually travel from Wisconsin to Alabama. While staying at a hotel in Franklin, the desk clerk suggested we try the Hot Plate. We've eaten there many times & never have been disappointed. The only time was when we stopped on a Saturday, not knowing the Hot Plate would be closed.The food is so good & comforting.
