The Homeplace offers amazing desserts and cakes for special occasions. The butter pecan cake with buttercream frosting was beyond expectations. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the salad bar and fish dishes are outstanding. The salad bar is a highlight, with customers able to buy it by the pound and control what they put on their plates. The portions are generous, and the coleslaw is delicious. Free samples of clam chowder are available, tempting customers to try more. Friday is fish day, and the fish is so plentiful that it can be shared. The restaurant is very clean, with spotless restrooms stocked with mouthwash, lip balm, Qtips, tampons, and more. The baby station includes a changing table, baby wipes, plastic bags, and diapers of different sizes, showing extra care for customers. First-time visitors receive a free drink, and veterans enjoy a complimentary beverage during their visit. The restaurant owner is very friendly, and the service is top-notch. For desserts, the Banana Pudding and Strawberry Cake are highly recommended. A visit to The Homeplace promises a great meal experience with friendly service and outstanding food.
