We had the crew out to cater about 50 folks at a friends and family party. The service team was very warm and welcoming and the food was terrific. I will call Rescue BBQ first anytime I need help in the future. Great food and friendly service.
Amazing! Charlie made our brunch an experience! What a joy! Their energy and excitement was so fun and the food was fabulous! Lots of exclamation points because they are deserved. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!
We tried this for the first time today. Absolutely Delicious!!! I got the pulled pork, Mac and cheese and the potatoes. Will definitely order again! My new favorite food truck!
I wasn't sure what to expect with this place. Parking was challenging, but once we found a place to park, the wait was worth it! The brisket is AMAZING!! I had the Brisket Melt and the flavor was second to none! The fries are delicious, especially with the bacon jam. I highly recommend this place!
The food and service was really exceptional. I had the pork ribs, and they were amazing!! The pit master baked beans were really different with the variety of beans included in the recipe, but none the less they were still really good. I loved the fries and it's just enough seasoning on them! One downfall is they were doing trivia which I wasn't aware of when booking my reservation on Opentable app, which was a bummer because it made the experience a little weird while walking in and feeling the need to be quiet as if I was walking in to the library. Other than that, the cocktails were really good as well and I suggest the Rum Diary!
I had the Cuban and it was excellent. Their chili is always so good and the service is great! Low key good food establishment.
We made a reservation on open table. When we got there we were told they do not check open table except when they originally opened so she doesn't have the reservation. Make then tells us we can sit at the bar instead of getting up and sitting us at one of the many open tables. My boyfriend and my self don't even drink. We sat at the bar nonetheless to wait about 10 mins to be greeted. Once we ordered we waited 30 minutes on one basket of grippo wings, green beans and tater tots. The green beans were Luke warm and SALTY! way too salty! The tater tots are called crispy tots but there was nothing crispy about them. They were soft and not hot at all either. The wings were good but way too much seasoning and/or salt. It did t really taste like gripped to be honest but the wings were fresh and hot we asked for bbq sauce originally and never received it until our wings were basically gone.. we then waited another 15-20 for someone to check on us or bring a receipt and the bartenders were all standing around talking to each other. Not the experience expected.
Four Pegs has amazing smoked wings! It's the reason we come here. On a separate note, the kitchen staff are truly heroic. While the restaurant is undergoing renovations, staff are cooking without a real kitchen (in a food truck if I'm not mistaken) in the incredibly hot summer months. It can not be an easy job, that's for sure. There is an option to buy the kitchen a round of drinks - and I'm sure they appreciate it. The wait staff and bartenders are efficient. A good experience overall.
Four Pegs continues to bring smokehouse perfection. Newer menu items, unique spices and preparation consistency makes this local haunt a Germantown staple. Still smok'n and cooking outside, even in a thunderstorm couldn't stop the chef from being the flavorful goods.
Great service, drinks and food. The staff (all) are happy and attentive. We had smoked Manhattans and our son had tea. Super good! We shared all our food so we could try it all and everything was delicious!! Smoked wings, ribs, smoked Turkey Cubano with slaw! And the brisket macaroni bowl!! Sooo good! We will be back next time we are in town.

Best local BBQ and beer cheese! The kind of place you try based on a recommendation from the bartender at the Brown Hotel, and then spend the rest of your life telling people if they are ever in Louisville they have to eat there!
Four Pegs is one of our favorite barbecue restaurants. The brisket sandwich is always outstanding! We also had the Grippo wings, the ribs and the club sandwich. The seasoning on the hand cut fries is always perfect and the collard greens were very good. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was not very busy on Mother's Day. The food arrived quickly. Our server, who was working at the bar, was not very attentive, but we were too busy enjoying our food that it didn't matter to us. We highly recommend their barbecue!
Food was okay. Nothing stood out to be great and certainly wasn't worth the slow and poor service. Our waitress sat at the bar chatting most of our meal, rarely checking on us. Our son didn't get his drink for 45 minutes after ordering it (just a sprite) and we had to ask two more times for it since the original order. We were so excited about the Bloody Mary that came with a charred end and chicken wing. Our bloody Mary's were delivered quickly, way before the sprite, but delivered with none of the garnishing meats described on the menu, and with no comments from the waitress. She just threw the drinks down and ran. The drinks garnishing meats came 30 min after the drink arrived. This wouldn't have been so annoying if our waitress had simply mentioned the garnishes would be coming eventually. Not worth the hassle and the food was borderline too salty anyways. And we like salt. 20% tip was automatically included for a table of 4 which is insane especially after such terrible service. Honestly WOULDNT recommend!
Amazing food! We had some delicious collard greens as well as mouth watering brown butter buffalo smoked wings! Pure deliciousness! We also enjoyed the smoked old fashioned, but it wasn't served under a cloche. My ONLY less than stellar rating comes from the noise level. It's a small space and the music was way too loud to converse, much less hear the waitress. She tried to describe the special and I couldn't hear her despite her standing right next to me. Also no list for beer or ciders, although I think she was telling me what they had, I couldn't hear. Small craft cocktail list; mostly bourbon.
I feel Four Pegs is struggling. We arrived at 11:30 am and the restaurant was pretty full. This was 1/2 hour after opening. We were told to take a table then we waited. It was probably 20-25 minutes till server made it to our table. We ordered our drinks and food then waited again. At least 20 minutes till my wife's Mimosa appeared. It took 40 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. They are trying to operate the restaurant out of their food truck. Not doing a very good job doing so. Our server probably apologized 6 times to us during the meal. Finally left at 1:15 after waiting quite a while for a check. A party of 10 that was seated before us was just receiving their food as we were leaving. Will not return as long as the food truck is the kitchen. It didn't work.
