The organization of this place is not good. Food comes out at different times, and one of the orders never came out. You don't walk by a table and ask if everything is alright and keep walking! Refill the sodas but only came back with one. So my kid never got his food and never got a refill on his soda. Almost like they had something against him. But hey, thank you for not charging us for 3 beverages and the missed food order.
I called in a pick up order. Pepperoni pizza with black olives. Its not easy to find a good Pizza in Glasgow, but these guys do a good job. Live music and a small crowd was there on a Wednesday evening.
Went before a show at the Plaza. We got lucky and had a server who tried and got in just ahead of the crowd. Most folks around us left without ever being served. Food was really not that good. The bar service was abysmal. The atmosphere was Great ! They really weren't staffed for a big crowd. I’d try somewhere else.
Went in on a Saturday night, got there about 5:45. Placed our order for 2 sandwiches, one with fries, one with onion rings. No sign of food by 6:40, had tickets for a show at 7 so waved the waitress down and she said food would be there in 5 minutes. Went ahead and paid the bill and had to wolf down the food. The place has alot of potential but obviously there is a problem in efficiency especially since one of the sandwiches consisted of precooked deli meats and the other a cheeseburger. Not cheap either, $15 per person.
Food was not good, we had the beer cheese with pretzel bites and for $10 it came with 10 tiny bites of pretzel and beer cheese which was not good. Nacho with mild flavoring?? The smashburger tasted good, but did not have any toppings whatsoever outside of pickles, and the same was true for the nashville hot chicken sandwich except it was not particularly good either. The stouts did taste good, AND I would be willing to purchase bottles of both the coffee and other stout they brew if I saw it for sale somewhere else. They had no beer menu? Tables were sticky as well. Hopefully we came here on an off night.
Our waitress was very attentive. The food is about what you would expect in a bar in the middle of the day. It’s a little shabby and the silverware was dirty. While not terrible, it doesn’t merit a second visit for me.
Yanceys should be a take out business only that caters to DoorDash only!! We were the only table in there and had to sit there and wait over 30 mins for our meal (Rueben & ultimate gr cheese) because the kitchen was too busy catering to all the door dashes that came, we learned that the door dash gets first priority (which isn’t fair to the servers!) So finally get our meal and to our surprise we get a tiny portion of fries that were nothing but little crumbs left over from the door dash orders!! They made my ultimate gr cheese out of regular plain bread they use for kids meal! My husbands Reuben was so rubbery he could hardly chew it!! It was the worse experience and we will NEVER be back again!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
Great food, great beer, great service :)
Great strawberry salad. Enough for two and reasonably priced.
Based upon the other reviews I read I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised to fi d this to be a nice spot for beer and food. Our server was friendly and attentive. And it looked like they had plenty of help. The beers were all good with a wide variety. The food is, as stated, pub food. It was all good. I think it's a good place to stop in when in Glasgow.
Also has outdoor seating. A really neat, repurposed venue.

My husband and I ordered the bruschetta, grilled cheese with side salad, and Club sandwich with waffle fries. Food, vibe, and service were excellent!
45 minutes for mozzarella sticks… maybe tolerable? 45. Minutes for a coke, though…? Yikes!
Got a flight - Lawnmower was a great summer beer, but all selections were great. We ordered the Rueben - delicious. They were setting up for live music, but we didn’t stay due to early morning next day. Great spot to relax and enjoy!
Terrible service. Waitress was extremely inattentive. Order was wrong. Had to ask multiple times for basic things — water, etc. Food was subpar. 100% do NOT recommend
We're not really brunch people, initially there was some disappointment that we couldn't order from the regular menu on a Sunday, but that burger they offer... out of this world. It was almost too big to get a proper bite, and the seasoning of the patty was perfect. Thankfully the bun is an appropriate choice to not fall apart half way through as well.
They also make their drinks nice and strong, and there looks to be a beer for everyone's taste. Service was attentive and we enjoyed spending our time there with a break from driving. Next time we're passing through I hope to strop and try the rest of their menu.
