Always a wonderful experience. Went for Valentines Day dinner. Food was excellent, wonderful atmosphere and service. A night to remember!
We went here during the Glendale Fall Festival, I expected it to be packed and a long wait however they moved fairly quickly and we were inside within 25 mins. Our waitress was on it! The food was delicious, & homemade. Tony was very down to earth during our conversations, very nice guy & restaurant. Highly Recommend.
I still dream of their fried green tomatoes.

We celebrated my grandfather's birthday at Tony York's tonight and man, it was incredible. First off, it is the best place to have an intimate gathering. It's so nice and private in the event space. Secondly, we had the absolute best service. The servers were both so kind and kept our drinks full, our tables cleaned off, and provided such wonderful hospitality. They made the birthday cake for my grandfather and I have to say it was the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Tony came into the room to explain the history of the building and speak with us about how it came to be the wonderful gem it is now. I have to say, my husband and I will be coming back more frequently, as it also serves as a nicer restaurant for a date night without breaking the bank. Also, I am always scared to take our 10 month old and our 2 year old out to restaurants (especially nicer ones) but the whole team didn't seem to care about the extra noise and running around. Tony even invited my two year old play a few notes on the piano.
I've never had food be made from a restaurant that you could literally taste the love and care put into it. Like, I got the scallops and shrimp scampi and it was so buttery and full of zesty flavor. My husband got the pork loin with grits, apples, and green beans and he said he believes it was the best pork loin he's ever had. I snuck a few bites of his grits and normally I'm not a huge fan but I kept going back for more. My daughter got the kids chicken tenders and didn't finish them, but my husband and I split her leftovers literally as soon as we got home. The chicken was so crispy yet juicy.
From hospitality, to food, to history- go to Tony York's. I can't wait to go back again and again to try the whole menu.

Food was great! Service was great! I had fried green tomatoes (I must say that wat the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had!) and the fish and chips plate. The slaw was great! My husband had beef tenderloin on a bed of mashed potatoes with a side of green beans and biscuits and he enjoyed his as well! I would highly recommend Tony York's on main! In Glendale KY.

I've been coming here for years and each experience was simply delightful. Today was no exception! We started with the Hors d'oeuvres. Fried green tomatoes with a remoulade sauce, and coconut shrimp with some horseradish Berry sauce. For our entrees, we enjoyed a fried green tomato Burger with Pomme frites, brown sugar glazed meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans, and the Southern Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes gravy and a biscuit. Two of the entrees came with a slice of watermelon! We had sweet tea to drink and it was off the proverbial chain! For dessert we had a strawberry rhubarb cobbler with vanilla ice cream.. washed down with a cup of the finest black coffee I have ever had in my 36 years of existence. All of the paintings are painted by local artists and you can buy them right off the wall!

I really enjoyed the experience. Food was eclectic and well prepared. Only thing I would change is the uncomfortable chairs.
