So wonderful and unique! The tour was great, the distillery has an awesome backstory. Everybody working was super friendly, laid back, and answered all of our questions. Cocktails and tasting were amazing as well. Can't wait to come back!
Worth a drive! So lovely and great products. We were lucky enough to have one of the owners do our tasting, so I felt like we got a real personal touch. Such a cool place, and I think we’ll be back!
Stopped here on a whim and so happy we did. What a charming spot. We feel like real bourbon pros now after the wonderful tasting experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful! We left with 2 bottles and expect we will be ordering more!
Excellent distillery in Graham. Not too far of a drive from Grand Rivers where we were staying. There’s lots of cool stuff going on here.
The distillery is housed in the old school property. The school was built by the town’s founder with the mission of bettering the next generation of the community. The Bards are carrying on this tradition by repurposing the school and making it that the centerpiece of the town again. You gotta love that.
The bourbons are all fantastic. They are small batch and crafted with care. I’m not going to go into intimate detail about each one because you need to come here and sample them yourselves. Words don’t really do them justice.
The back story of this place is actually pretty amazing. The people are awesome! We rode out here from little Sturgis to do a tasting. 10 of us walk in and they immediately gave us a warm welcome and hooked us up with some Bourbon Slushies! After the tasting I had to have a bottle of the Cinder and Smoke Oloroso! Do yourself a favor if you like an Old Fashioned and have them make you one with it. 🔥 Great Group of people with an excellent product! You don’t have to take my word for it just give them a visit and see for yourself!
Wonderful time on the tour - great staff and great whiskey!
We visited Bard Distillery over the 4th of July weekend. The staff were really friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. They make great cocktails to take along on the tour. The tasting was amazing (we bought 3 bottles)! They are knee deep in renovations. And, are turning an old abandoned school into their distillery. So cool! We can’t wait to make a return visit just to see what they have done. An amazing stop! We highly recommend a visit!!
Absolutely worth the stop! We traveled from Wisconsin to Nashville and made a detour to The Bard Distillery—and we’re so glad we did. Great atmosphere, friendly folks, and top-notch bourbon. A hidden gem we’re still talking about!
Our tour guide was great! We showed up early and got to go ahead and start early. It was really interesting learning the history of the Bard's and the old school that the property sits on. All of the products we tasted were very good and we left impressed! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the brand and any questions we had about bourbon. We even got some playing cards from the western region, and she gave us the heads up to ask for them at all of the other stops we have planned. She also threw in some decals and a magazine. Overall this was a great experience and we would like to come back when the renovations are completed. We plan on looking for products close to home!
Yummy tasting and fabulous staff! 🥰

Short tour but what wonderful history. And their whiskey selections are top notch. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this young & upcoming distillery.
really great products. great people.
We had the most fun at our visit! The tasting was great and the mixed drinks were spectacular! I wish we had bought more bottles to take home 😅 So glad I can order online!
Very cool place, great people and fine spirits. Thank you for the experience. We look forward to seeing you all regularly. 😊
The Bard distillery is in an old school, super cool that is being restored. They will eventually have a venue there, it will maje a nice large venue. Amy did a good job explaining the history of the Distillery. They have multiple flavored whiskies and cremes.
