Well unfortunately this looks to be an end of an era for knoths bbq. The new people that bought the restaurant have ran it into the ground. They claim they are making necessary repairs but where? They used the same excuse in the spring. They are always either out of food or closed.
The meat reminded me of chicken,was not cut up and very dry. The coleslaw tasted like honey mustard and was hunks of cabbage and the sauce tasted like honey mustard did not like the food would not stop here again, try to do a special family dinner and it turned into a pretty crappy dinner don't recommend it to anyone....

We have ate at this BBQ for many yrs . At the numerous locations. They have been located at . In that area. Dinned there for over 25yrs. We use to spend our weekends on the lake there. My in-laws had a home on the lake … And they first introduced us to this place . It’s the best BBQ we have ever eaten. And when we come that direction. We make it a must stop to eat … We live in So. Illinois … We always tell people about it. Especially if they are headed to that area ..Absolutely the best !!!
Place has really went down !Ordered for a cater slaw had no taste and bbq sauce was so watered down so bad you couldn't even taste it.Please bring back like it once was !!!!

Stopped by here on our way out west. Must try their shakes and hot bbq sauce. The coleslaw is also unique, but good.
