Sunday around 3:00pm, June 8, 2025, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a steak dinner at Mixteco restaurant. This would be our third visit. The dining room buzzed with the usual early dinner chatter and the clatter of dishes. We both ordered the sirloin steak dinner, eager for a hearty meal.
