First time there, if I'm back in the area, will definitely go back. Brisket was good, mac & cheese was good. Nice, relaxed dining room. All the staff were super nice and friendly. Good BBQ joint!
We have eaten at The Hog's Trough twice and the food is amazing. The brisket, chicken and pulled pork are tender, well seasoned and the portions are huge!! Both times we took enough food home for another meal! And the sides.....wow!! The mac/cheese is the best anywhere. We had baked beans (wonderful), cole slaw (amazing), green beans (a little too spicy according to our grandkids)!! They have several other sides as well. Our server was great, and the service to get our food...

Small is a 1/2lb of meat. Large is 1lb. We went with the large 2 meat combo got the half chicken (so you get one 1/2 chicken each and brisket plenty for two. And under $40. Great price.
