This Place is Not Dumas Walkers !!!!
Back in the day this place was mentioned in the song but the actual Dumas Walkers is just across the Tennessee state line in Moss Tennessee. Back in the day we used to go eat at this place because it was the only place around that was open late that served food. Kinda like our own backwoods version of the Waffle House. This place is cool. But I repeat, It is NOT Dumas Walkers…you can get a slaw burger, fries and a bottle of Ski here , But Dumas Walkers is in Tennessee….
Sorry

Was so pleasantly surprised by our visit. There were multiple locals in there that chatted with us and were just so friendly. The lady working was great. We loved our Slaw Burger, Fries and Ski ♥️ the perfect detour on our roadtrip.

A motorcycle trip from Marion Ohio to Greensburg Kentucky just to see The Kentucky HeadHunters Dumas Walker restaurant.
The waitress / owner is a sweet young lady who was very friendly, an apparently she knows how to cook.
We only had the breakfast but it was fantastic in my opinion.
The atmosphere is just what I expected.
It was early morning hours they hadn't been open too long when we went in, place was actually full of locals, us being bikers we looked a little different, first thing one of the guys said at the bar was: we don't need any riff raft in here!
My reply was: why is there enough riff raff in here already?
Before long we were talking with the locals like we were one of them.
I look for these Mom and Pop on places.
I will make a trip back in the near future.
I only wish they would have sold t-shirts or at least hat pins.

Ok, so I've heard the song all of my life and didn't know that this place was still up and running until recently. My wife and I got the rare Saturday off and decided to go. MAN! I'm glad I did! The owner treated us like family, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was good! Can't wait to go back!

A very memorable stop. It is what it is so, have an open mind. A fan of "Kentucky head hunters" music? A great little happy family operated place to get the famous Dumas Walker slaw burger (as in their song) Burger and slaw couldn't have been any better.

Long drive from Louisville just to experience this restaurant and the ambiance. 9:00 am. Met with lights out-doors locked….no sign. HOurs are posted as 9 to 1 in some places and 5 AM to 10 AM in other places….so 9:00 am seemed a safe bet…..not really….definitely disappointed and won’t try again. Well got to see outside and peek in window…..thanks for nothing….

It’s pretty gross looking. I can’t imagine why you would want to eat there.

Super friendly people and small town atmosphere. 4 people ate for $26 at breakfast.
