“I had fried cod. My husband had catfish and frog legs. Food tasted good . I ended up eating my husband's frog legs and I loved them. He wanted them more crispy. He was disappointed that he only received one piece of fish for the price of the meal. The beans and hush puppies are great. Good ice tea also. The fried mushroom appetizer was tasty. Friendly services.“

“If you’re within 50 miles of Benton, Kentucky heck, even 100 do yourself a favor and get to this little slice of heaven: a small, family-owned diner that completely stole my heart and appetite. I stumbled upon it by chance and ended up eating there four days in a row. Not once did I repeat a meal, and not once was I anything less than blown away. Every dish was a knockout, but two things deserve their own spotlight: the hush puppies and the smoked meatloaf. The hush puppies are crispy, golden bites of joy perfectly seasoned, not greasy, and made with love you can taste. But the smoked meatloaf? That’s in a league of its own. It’s got that perfect smoky flavor, tender as a brisket, I’d drive the full 50 miles just for that. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Billy walks out with dessert. I’m convinced he’s got magic in those hands because his desserts aren’t just the best in the county, they’re the best in Kentucky. Homemade pies, cakes. each one better than the last. If you go and don’t save room for dessert, you’re doing it wrong. What really made this place special, though, was the people. The staff treated me like family from the moment I walked in. They remembered my name, asked about my day, and made me feel like I was more than just a customer, I was a guest at their table. The warmth and hospitality here is something you don’t find often, and it’s genuine. So here’s the deal: if you’re anywhere near Benton, make the trip. This diner isn’t just a place to eat it’s an experience, a memory. I’ll be back every chance I get.“
