Always great food, service and a clean environment! The fried catfish is clean tasting and fried just right, the white beans are really good, I went for seconds. The coleslaw is yummy and the hushpuppies won't let you down! Never had a bad meal here! My bday was yesterday but they were closed. We were there tonight though! 😁

Hostess on November 6th was irked cause we had parry of 6, all grown men, and she did not want to move an additional table so we could have room, the place was dead, plenty of tables, we all have ate there before and tip well, we fish bass tournaments, food was good, waitress was polite and took care of us.

The food was fresh, and large portions. Their potato wedges are MASSIVE! Our server was very sweet and prompt. The price on the menu wasn't the price at the register, however, they did have a large sign at the door stating they were in the process of having to increase and adjust pricing. All in all it was a great experience!

Me and my wife came here to eat a couple weeks ago. The food was really good. We got fried catfish. The hush puppies were just about the best we ever had. The beans were good with the red sauce on the table. Our waiter (Colby) did a great job. We didn’t have to ask for anything. The one star review is for the older woman with black hair (owner I think). RUDE. We won’t be coming back if she thinks this is how you treat people. Ruined it for us. My wife said same thing.

First, the service was top notch, the waitress was absolutely amazing, present, and attentive. The food was very good. And you get a lot of it. Everything wqs delicious except the steak my date ordered. He said it was prepared very well with great seasoning & cooked exactly as he ordered, but said the cut of meat was lower quality. Their coleslaw, black beans, and collard greens were amazing. The hush puppies were good, nothing to rave about but tasty and not overdone.

We had a group of 13 roll in here to have a late lunch. Friendly service and clean facilities. The free hush puppies were amazing as a start. I had the 2 entries sampler, catfish and frog legs with fries. Everything was very good. Several tried the frog legs and we all agreed they where the best. I would definitely suggest a stop by if you are coming through.
Without a doubt some of the kindest people i've met. I found myself stranded at the Kenlake State Resort Park on a rainy night. The owner personally delivered my dinner. I plan on getting to his restaurant as soon as possible.

We had a great dinner at The Pond about 7:15pm after spending the day exploring the Land Between the Lakes area. The atmosphere was casual and family-friendly and the hostess and server were welcoming and helpful. The food came out quickly, about 15 minutes, and the fried catfish was perfection. The white beans, hushpuppies, vinegar slaw, and baked potato were also great. They had some enticing choices for dessert but I declined although my husband got some ice cream. The prices were extremely reasonable. If we ever return to this area, we will definitely eat here again.

Server was great. Food was ok, not the best and definitely not the worst. The hostess, owner whatever they were, didn't exactly offer a warm greeting or was pleasant when we left. It was if they were bothered by us being there. I would say they could care less about this review or if we ever came back but no worries, you never need to worry about that. McDonald's down the road would have a better atmosphere then this place.
