5/31/25 - food was par, which is exactly what i wanted and expected. However, a lunch took us an hour, bc our waiter was either way too busy or not particularly great at his job. 🫤
The place itself is the typical hole-in-the-wall joint that's I'd hoped to be a local legend.
Not so.
I don't want to detract from the food, however, which is why we were there.
AND THE VALUE?!? OMG!

Favorite Mexican restaurant to date. Love the environment, and the staff are amazing. The food is always on point.

Food was tasteless except for salsa which tasted like watered down tomato sauce with a little ketchup and chili powder.
When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I expect flavor ....Cilantro, cumin, garlic and hot peppers.
The wait staff could use a refresher course on friendly service as well. The restaurant was depressing, and not clean. We'll never eat there again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

You can't go wrong with Miguel's. Carlos is the best! The queso is amazing. Fajitas are always a great choice. I've never had anything bad, and service is always outstanding.

Food is always good. On this visit, the waiter never checked on me after taking my order. The person who brings out the food brought my check and my drink was never refilled.

Hadn’t gone to eat for months due totwo overfryed burritos returned only to receive the worst service from not one but many of the servers very rude I will not be returning nothing special about it

I have no clue how the rating can be so high on this place other than to guess that because it is pretty much the only sit down place open for dinner and weekends, that people are just desperate to keep it open. We have tried, I mean TRIED to give this place a chance. We have visited 5 times. Every time I say “never again”. We wait easily 45 min to an hour for food, 15 minutes for drinks, and 10 minutes often to even get a menu. Carryout said 20 minutes, and an hour later they said it still wasn’t close to ready. We left without any food. Now the food, it is standard Mexi food that has been Americanized by GFS or some other one-spice-fits-all vendor. There is nothing we’ve been served that has impressed at all. The service is cold, impersonal, and nearly silent. A lot like the food when it arrives. If it arrives.

After being seated and food ordered, it took an hour to get our food. Our silverware was dirty, so we got another set, which was also dirty. Went through 4 sets before finding clean silverware. The booth I was setting in was by the window. It wasn't wiped down very well. The window seal had a cup sitting in it with dust all over it. The pepper shaker was in the window seal and also covered in dust. There were plant leaves all over the window seal as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. While I was waiting on my food, I watched one of the servers drop silverware on the floor , pick it up, and place it on a table like nothing happened. So even though the food was good. I was not impressed by the service
