The two women who were working in the dining room were wearing their mask below their nose. After waiting for quite a while my order came out wrong. Then when the doors opened I saw that one of the cooks wasn't even wearing a mask. We chose to leave, instead of waiting for the order to be corrected.

We have eaten here, and gotten carry out, a number of times. Unfortunately Hardinsburg just does not have any place good to eat out in. The food is very industrial. The servers are sort of nice, but every time we have had to make multiple requests for the same thing, such as extra butter. If there were better places, with more healthy and nourishing food, we would not be returning to this place. Perhaps they can revise the menu to include some actually healthy items for patrons!

We love the Brak. The food there is great, but the hours online are incorrect. For instance tonight they are open until 7PM, but online says closed and hours are only until 4. Incorrect. If you are wanting to go, please call before assuming they are closed.

Daily Specials are the best !! Liver & onions, on Monday, Chicken & Dumplin’s, on Tuesday, Fried Chicken on “hump day,” Meatloaf Thursday, & “Fish Friday. CLOSED on Saturday. Sunday’s special changes. (Pot Roast, Turkey & Dressing, Fried Chicken, Pork Tenderloin Fresh “homemade” vegetable soup, chilly & other of BETTY’s great “FIXINS” !!!

The Brak was a small type restaurant with a nice assortment of home cooked meals. The chicken fried steak and gravy is really good but the chicken and dumplings were also good. Great service too. Would recommend the Brak if you are ever visiting Hardinsburg.
