The food is always hot/fresh and made to order just for you. Staff is professional and friendly. The baked potatoes are absolutely delicious. My favorite meal is the turkey, bacon club sandwich with a cheese and bacon potato.

I havnt been to Rax since 1986. Loved them but they didn't survive past 1994. Found this gem in Harlan Ky. So on my trip from Florida up the east coast I figured in a stop. What a walk through time! Let me add.. the Best manager ever. She took time to take a photo of my crew in front of the sign outside.

My mom hadn’t had Rax in over 30 years. My grandpa used to get it for her all the time back when there were hundreds of these restaurants. Now there’s only a handful left. My mom and I drove here so she could have it again and she said it was the same as it always was. Excellent roast beef sandwich!
