I'm giving 3 stars because I came to Harlan to visit family and hadn't had the opportunity to try this place until recently, the food we received was AMAZING! That being said.. everyone at my table got their initial dinner plate.. my food was entirely wrong, not bad just not what i ordered.. two of our appetizers were forgot entirely and by the time they corrected mine I needed a to-go box because everyone in our party was done eating. The restaurant is great, the food was great but the service could be improved. Overall I would probably go back and give it another go.

Great place. First time eating here. Great atmosphere. Clean. Warm. Inviting. Great service. Baked potatoes are huge. Salads are good portions and the filet was delicious. Topped our meal off with fried ice cream and it didn't disappoint ?

We were looking for steak after our visit to a little country church while on vacation in Putney, KY. We found this place using Google. Had decent ratings and thought we would give it a try. We were a little confused that it seemed to be a Mexican restaurant. And it wasn't taco Tuesday ?We found steaks in the back portion of the menu and thought we would give it a try. I wasn't expecting much for the price of the t-bone dinner that we ordered. However it was pretty good in flavor, a very thin cut. Which made cooking it to the medium rare that I prefer difficult, but it wasn't to over done for us. Baked potato was huge, but it was a little under cooked in spots.Overall not a bad meal for the price.

Service was horrible. Asked for refills, and other things never received. Didn't get salads till after meal and the Caesar salad had too much dressing and was inedible. Only time server was at table was hovering over me to sign check. Didn't deserve the tip he received. Won't be back.

Worst meal i have ever had. Steak was overcooked. Baked potato was cold butter would not melt. I cant believe they would serve such horrible food. Service was horrible had to stand up and yell for server to come back to our table. Place is a joke. Ended up going to kfc afterwards which was great. Do urself a favor DO NOT GO HERE!
