The Hungry Goats LLC (Good Food and Catering)

This is on the new location in Benham. I would only do half a star if it was possible. We waited 2 Hours.. took 45 minutes to get drinks. They only had 2 waitresses and it was in no way their fault!! Then when the food came out it was COLD. Most ridiculous experience in a restaurant to date. The owner needs better business sense and if it’s Sunday and you know it’s going to busy with the after church crowd and everyone else then you need to have more staff! They will NOT stay in business long like this… I felt so bad for the waitresses. Made sure to give ours a tip and it FOR SURE wasn’t because the food was good.

Adam, it’s very unprofessional to leave a bad review because I didn’t want to purchase your credit card Machine. It may be illegal as well. I have already looked up your company, and if you don’t remove this bad review, I’m going to report this to your company and seek legal. You didn’t even eat at my restaurant; you are simply upset because I didn’t want to buy your credit card machine. Mrs. Jenkins, the 1-star, had nothing to do with my selling you anything or your friendly staff; it was based on your negative attitude and embarrassing me in front of your establishment. Extortion: Threatening to damage someone's career to coerce them into removing a negative review or taking other actions is a form of extortion, which is a felony in all 50 states. The threat doesn't have to be physical; damage to reputation or career can qualify.

Delicious homemade pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, and cole slaw. I had the won ton tacos. Delicious! Plus, the owner sang Loretta Lynn songs with me.

Evelyn and her team are great. Her food is straight-up comfort food.

The mac and cheese needs more cheese. The broccoli casserole would be better if the broccoli stems were cut smaller and the dressing is dry in the turkey and dressing meal.

Awesome place! The owner is a little mouthy but over all I liked it.

Kid-friendliness: They treat my kid as one of the staff. They let her do grown up stuff. She thinks she's a big shot when we're there.

If you love country home cooking you'll LOVE The Hungry Goats!!!They also have some unique dishes like the Hawaiian Bowls, and Wonton Tacos that are both very tasty!!!Generous portions of great food at reasonable prices, if your Hungry as a Goat head on over to The Hungry Goats in Harlan, KY across from O'REILLY'S Auto Parts next to the Cricket store!!!

I absolutely love this place and the workers. It's a great place for a home cooked supper when you don't want to cook. Hands down, the meatloaf is amazing!!! I could eat from here daily. One of the workers brought my food to me after she got off work. But this place has always been great.
