The staff was great, very professional! However, the food on the other hand was just horrible! Not sure what was going on because I've eaten there many times before and it's always been good. I wasn't charged, which is why I'm not giving 1 star.
Come at the beginning or end of the meal period. I couldn't image how slow service would be at the peak of lunch service. The coffee is horrible!!! But why 5 stars you ask? Because this place is family through and through, walk in and it's like g-moms house. Just a good country cooking shop, but don't drink the coffee, that is a negative star experience.
Not worth writing home to momma about, but it's ok. The pork chops were battered and deep fried. That part was fine. I just wish they didn't scoop out all the grease that was in the fryer when they pulled then out and put it on my plate. The broccoli casserole was great, and it's usually pretty good.
