Visited Harrodsburg this week and was looking forward to dessert here. Got to restaurant and it was no longer in business. Looks like it has been closed down for awhile. I guess they are a Covid victim! We went around the corner to The Olde Bus Station and had some wonderful Bananna soft serve ice cream!

don't let the name fool ya - this is a great hang out, great place where everyone knows your name --- and we take clients here for lunch. you want 'local', this is your place. And great food...

It's a cool building, but the portion size was terrible. I got a special for the day, a quiche, and it was simply a tiny piece of quiche and 6 grapes. To put this in the proper proportion, they have slices of pie in displays and they were all larger than my "meal". I wont be going back, which is a shame because I live within walking distance.Reading the response, I would like to point out that it was listed as a special and was $7.

This food is amazing, best tuna sandwich I'd ever had. Coffee smooth not bitter, loved it! Clean cute old fashioned drug store. You order and then seat yourself 3 rooms with table and chairs. Lovely place. Would have given this place more stars if I could have

Excellent made from scratch. Everything is fresh. I personally love their Manhattan. And the homemade cheesecake with berries on top is AMAZING!! They have ice cream and delicious homade fudge as well. They have a full bar, and outdoor seating on the deck in the back. Their coffee is just as good of not better than Starbucks .

Went here for Friday night dinner with my husband, son and his wife and kids. Nice atmosphere. My lasagna and salad were delicious! Prices were reasonable too. We enjoyed it!

We walked in on a Friday afternoon around 3:15. We had looked at their 'hours' on the sign out front because we figured that in the middle of the afternoon they might not be serving lunch or dinner. But on Friday's, the hours are 10: AM until 10: PM. So in we went. Having never been there, we went to the cash register and stood there waiting for someone to approach us. We read their menu on the huge and nice old chalkboard over and behind the counter. Soon we noticed that we had been standing there for 10-12 minutes and not one person has appeared or spoken to us. We decided to walk / look towards the back where there looked to be a bar or something. I was just done and leaving the room when a lady approached and asked if she could fix me a drink. I thanked her and said that we were just leaving, that we had just been up front for 10-12 minutes and now we were out of the mood to eat here. She took off. Then a manager came over and said that a waitress said that we were "mad". (????) No, we didn't say anything about being mad or upset. He was nice, but we were already in another mode. The food might have been amazing. This place had all of the things that would make it a cool place to go an have dinner or have a drink. We are not mad, just disappointed. Perhaps another day, we'll be back. Thanks.

The atmosphere was really laid back and chill. Even though they were pretty busy every person I saw who worked there had a smile on their faces and a kind word. We only bought some fudge, but it was delicious. We got the Buckeye and Bourbon Toffee flavors. I highly recommend both, but the buckeye was 100% my favorite. I hope we can go back and try some of the main dishes soon. I thought the room with the chalk drawings done by the owner was cool. And the main area with all the antique stuff from when it was a drug store is amazing. You could spend hours just looking at it all!!

Yummy Club sandwich with cheddar crusted panini bread and Chipotle mayo, and wait for the BEST part: honest to goodness perfect ?. Good cup of Chai tea. Set in a restored, vintage drug store. Definitely a culinary treat in a fast food culture. Nice experience. I hope to get back soon. BTW, desserts are killer. Gonna get me a scone for the road.

Had a class In Harrodsburg and the instructor is local and he recommended this to the class. So if locals like a place I usually try and visit. The interior is very old school and pretty. They have a good selection of lunch Items at a great price. I got the pesto grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Both were hot and tasted of fresh ingredients. My meal with drink was $8.21, about the same as fast food burger place.

If you have a taste palate, you're going to want to make sure this place is on your list. History, elegance, atmosphere, quality music, flavor, burgers, soups, tarts, Bavarian cream... need I say more? Old fashioned cream soda from scratch? How about friendly and informative staff? Trust me folks, you want to put this on as a must visit list.
