Be Creative Catering delivered exactly what we dreamed of, and then exceeded it. We wanted our wedding food to feel like a great night out in NYC, just placed in a Kentucky venue. Not “good for wedding food,” but genuinely great food that makes you want to go back for seconds… and thirds.
That’s exactly what Travis and Michelle created.
From customized passed hors d’oeuvres to expertly crafted cocktails, every detail was thoughtful and intentional. Dinner was outstanding: chicken parmesan that tasted straight out of a beloved neighborhood Italian spot, tortellini with rich red sauce, perfectly cooked fresh vegetables, and some of the best prime rib we’ve ever had …wedding or otherwise.
What truly set them apart was the service. Timing was flawless, guests were never waiting for food or drinks, and everyone was encouraged to eat and drink as much as they wanted. The late-night Skyline presentation was perfectly executed and such a memorable moment.
Months later, our guests still talk about the food. If you want catering that feels like a top-tier restaurant experience—not a standard banquet meal—Be Creative Catering is a no-brainer.

Highly recommend Travis and Be Creative Catering! We recently got married at the wedding venue Inn at Oneonta that Travis owns with his wife Michelle, and when booking you get the venue and the catering together. Their menu was HUGE, and you really can customize it any way you want. We chose to serve the beef tenderloin and halibut with their mashed potatoes and green beans. OMG, soooo good! Of course, when it is your wedding you always forget to eat enough, so I wish I could go back and scarf down more of my plate. I do know I ate all of the mashed potatoes - delicious! The hors d'oeuvres were really good too during cocktail hour, and also helped us achieve our goal of having a skyline coney bar as a late night snack. The cherry on top was the ricotta donuts as all the guests left! 10/10, highly recommend for great food and great service! Thanks Travis, Anthony and I will miss our meetings (even though we have our reputation of being late! LOL)

The main course sides were salivating, well presented, and served hot & fresh! The cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were raved about. I can’t even count how many people came up to myself and our parents saying that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. My whole family couldn’t believe how delicious the food was at the tasting, and it was even better at the wedding. The beef tenderloin actually melts in your mouth and the horseradish takes it to another level. They made a custom entrée for us with chicken with stuffing that was to die for. The stuffing is better than any Thanksgiving stuffing I have ever had. You cannot go wrong with any of the choices on the Be creative Catering menu. Travis is an incredible chef and I would trust him to cater any event I ever had in the future.
