Food was excellent and extremely reasonable. We had a large party so it took a while for the food to come out, but was well worth the wait. I had an omelet and it was big and loaded with toppings. Biscuits and sausage gravy were very good. Our server was hilarious.
My overly hungry wife and I pulled into the Hoptown Foodies Diner this morning for our first visit. As we yanked open the door we were greeted by a hearty chorus of “Come on in and grab any table you like!”. The place was filled with happy regulars and we soon discovered happy employees as well, We settled on a table as Cody a very efficient and personable young man began to take our drink orders and give us the specials of the day. We got our licenses renewed and we were starving, we decided to walk a little over half a mile to get there, but the food was delicious. The chicken and dumplings were to DIE FOR! The people there were so nice and so friendly. And it was about $30 for all of us to eat.
We made a comment about how this walk back to the car was going to be rough from being so full! And they gave us a ride back to our car so we wouldn’t have to cross the dangerous highway again!
