Taco Express Hopkinsville

Great lil Mexican restaurant!! I will be going there from now on. They have a great lil band I really enjoyed while I waited for my food. The owner took my order it was closing time but he insisted that I go ahead and place an order said take as long as u like! Blows Elbrocero's away!! The owner was as sweet as he could be. Family atmosphere.

Visiting special places, Taco Express has provided me with an excellent taste experience, just like I was at home.
To start, this Beef Broth is a delight that I 100% recommend. Today's Menudo is a delight, so I give it a 100 points.

I ordered birria tacos from here and they were delicious.i would suggest a little more of the meat and cheese filling in the tacos but none the less the food was so good. I highly suggest going to the condiment table and trying the fresh sauces and pickled onions and jalepenos. I had a green sauce and it was so fresh and flavorful. The owner was so nice

wow all I can say was mine was fantastic had a beer happy hour two for one .

I had been here a few times before Covid but visited this place again recently for lunch. The tacos are still delicious and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Also, the gordita was delicious. I love the large salsa bar. It is definitely an authentic Mexican restaurant that is hard to find in this area.

I've left good reviews here before but haven't been by to eat there in a while. Went out there on a Friday night (8/23/2024). They had a live band playing and it was a great time! Our dog was very sick and hospitalized at the time and we'd just left a visiting hour with her. The owner remembered me even though I hadn't been there in almost 2 years. He took care of serving us himself! He took our drink and food offers and brought everything to us quickly. It didn't take any time at all to get our food. The barbacoa street tacos were some of the best in town. I've been going around to all the Mexican places and getting Al Pastor street tacos and this is the ONLY place that I can get barbacoa street tacos! I had one pastor taco and it was tied for num 1 best of all the places I've tried. Love this place. I forget about going therena lot but popping in on band night helped us have some good vibes while we were worried about our dog! And by the way, she is back home and still regaining her strength but is going to be just fine. I love Taco Express! Plus they have greaf pico and guac. Also for those who wonder, I get all my street tacos with onions, cilantro and lime as is traditional or so I've been told. Will sometimes add green sauce but didn't that night. They natural flavors were awesome with just the cilantro and lime.

We will not be back. The food was extremely bland and the waiter seemed to be very short with us. Tiny portions and cold. My husband’s was full of fat. I left with nothing to take home and that never happens. Loved the music but the food was lacking. Worst Mexican I’ve ever had unfortunately. We just really feel like we wasted our money.

Great Owners, & Momma cooking in the back is yum yum great cook.. never leave there still hungry and prices are very good for the portion ya get.. don't forget to check out his music and her love of jewelry got earrings for everyone and any occasion.. don't forget weekend bands , lots fun ... One happy returning customer..

Probably the most authentic Mexican food I've had in the area. Portions are good depending on what you order. The service was nice, but it was hot in the restaurant
