Shrimp and grits was decent but not spicy. Their shrimp overall are large, clean and very good and bread is fantastic. Green chile wonton had too much cheese and too little chile for me.
Great service, great people. Food is always on point. This team and their management make the east end bristol a phenomenal place.

I have Celiac disease. The waitress was very knowledgeable. I had a cheeseburger and they cooked skillet potatoes in separate pan for me. Good was good and I felt safe.

The Bristol is a classic when it comes to Louisville. It’s easy to make a reservation for this restaurant through OpenTable. I met friends at this space because we found it to be good for conversation especially after book club. We ordered the green chili wontons which are incredible every single time you get them. For dinner I actually got the vegetable lasagna, which was extremely hardy. It was a very large portion. It was warm and it had multiple layers of noodles and vegetables. It was a really great option. I took half of it home. The next time we came and got the quesadilla and it was very tasty. It comes with sour cream, pico de gallo, and a guacamole. Our service every time is great and the staff takes good care of you. This is a classic for a reason. And it lives up to that standard.
Vegetarian options: Quesadilla, veggie burger. The pasta options has a veggie option and you can ask for some others without meat. The salads and appetizers have good veggie options.

I almost never eat at any of the Bristol’s now, though they used to be on our regular rotation years ago. A friend wanted to go so I figured we’d see if anything has improved. Food is and has been for some time consistently mediocre. New ownership? I had a Cobb salad with chewy fried chicken today. The toppings were great (bacon, egg, blue cheese crumbles, etc.) and plentiful. Too bad they were over a TINY bed of lettuce, completely out of proportion to the toppings, and on a plate that I can only guess was part of a portion control regimen imposed on the kitchen. It’s a $14 lunch salad, put it on a regular sized plate so people don’t make a mess and double the lettuce and it would be good. The fried chicken was lukewarm and too chewy, very disappointing. Chairs at our table had delaminated/peeled seat tops making them look streaky and dirty.

This is a restaurant that I would recommend, especially for the Sunday brunch. The food was fresh and hot, and everyone was very friendly.

Went to the Bristol last Sunday for brunch
Everything was great till we went to get waffles.
The young man making them could not see what he was doing.
He looked like a alpaca
There was so much hair and no net
Needless to say, no waffles for us

This would be my husband and I's second time attending Bristols brunch buffet. Most definitely won't be our last. Justin was our server this time, and thus far is our favorite. He is attentive, nice, and personable.
There is plenty of parking and lots of handicapped spots near the door.
I'd suggest making a reservation, but you may be okay if you have a smaller party.
As of now, it's $27.50 per person for the Sunday buffet. You do get a lot, though. Even if you have picky people in your party.
If you have a wheelchair it may be a bit tight to maneuver. It's doable, though.
Overall, yes, this place is a bit on the pricier side. However, you get a good variety. There are people watching the buffet so it stays stocked, fresh, and maintained. Lastly, the atmosphere provides a cozy place to eat brunch with a date or family without talking over loud music.
Parking: This restaurant is part of the strip of other businesses so there is plenty of parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are three handicapped spots to the right of the front door of the front door. It also has very easy accessible sidewalk access. Past that there are two sets of doors, however. To my knowledge, there aren't automatic doors (don't quote me on that, though). Overall, the restaurant is rather spacious.

Ah, the good old dependable Bristol. Have been going to its various locations for decades & will continue doing so. Have never had a bad experience. Plenty of vegetarian options (except on the soups). Lots of menu standards we like. Last night Laura had the vegetable stir-fry with teriyaki (a tad much for her spice-averse tastes) & I had the crab cakes with aioli sauce & steamed broccoli. Very tasty. The grilled salmon, fish sandwich & pad Thai are also good. Our server, Margaret, was excellent. The crowd skews older so we fit right in! Easy to have a conversation. Grateful for this longtime Louisville favorite.

Four of us dined last night and each of us totally enjoyed our our meals. The teriyaki salmon and shrimp and grits were particularly outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and speedy. Very enjoyable evening.
