Good Pizza. Their Diablo is HOT.
Same company as Apollo's if I'm not mistaken.
Edit: my original post was 3 years ago. Whatever has happened over the years has taken a toll. Pizza quality has gone down and no service. Cost me 40 bucks at I ended up not being able to finish my pizza because it was so bad. It's basically melted cheese on flat bread... Bring back the old Steam Engine!!!
Pictured was the "regular crust." 3 years ago it was actual pizza. It's sad because Irvine could use a nice pizza joint.

This is as hometown as you can get ? Delicious pizza with the small town appeal. My husband and I first encountered this place a little over a month ago when we moved to Irvine from Arizona. We love it so much, that we make a point to pop in at least once a week for the savory Pizza. You'll love the food, but the staff is top notch! Be sure to try their pickle chips. The best I've ever had ?

Went in today during the festival. Saw a sign that said "seat yourself" so we walked through the restaurant to find there were no seats available. Completely understandable that they were swamped because of the festival but why not have an employee at the door saying there would be a wait? What ended up happening was three different groups of people were standing waiting for the same table to be bussed where a group eventually left.We noticed during this time that in the entire packed restaurant every table had drinks and nobody had food. Literally nobody. We took that as a sign and left.

Do not go to this place during the mushroom festival. I wanted to try this so bad but we waited over an hour for food before leaving. There was at least 4 families waiting on their food before we even sat down and we overhead they had been there an hour prior to us getting there. The server did bring us drinks right away. They cleaned the plates from the Table but not the crumbs and food stains on the tables. It was swamped I'm not going to lie but we left and went to a vendor outside called Apollo pizza ordered a whole pizza and got it under 20 mins.

Best pizza around! A bit pricey, so we don't eat here often. But it really is good pizza.

Cold pizza's, not only with delivery. Last time we dined in they left our pizza in the back so long 20 min later it was barely warm cheese wasn't even melted. And only had 2 tables inside at the time. Maybe, the employees should stay off their cell phones while on the clock. The girl at the register was playing on her phone the whole time we was waiting on our food. Maybe we were forgot about. We won't be back. Sorry....
