ordered the mac and cheese pizza with alfredo sauce. absolutely delicious. no notes. i love it. thank you.
This place is great! The environment is clean and welcoming. The service is terrific. And the food is spectacular! While I was there I had fried pickle, fried banana pepper, and a 9inch country chick (chicken, bacon, ranch) pizza. I always get the fried banana peppers because they are the best! Both the pickles and peppers are served with ranch.

Heard this place was very good so my wife and I decided to make the 45 minute drive to try it. Very nice place and great atmosphere, however the rest was so-so. We were the only people there and it took almost 5 minutes to be greeted. Wife ordered a tea that tasted like water. I asked about drafts and was told, there's a menu on the wall in the other room by the bar. After we got our drinks, it took almost 15 minutes, being the only people there, to have our order taken. Ordered the garlic bread sticks as an appetizer and a pizza. The pizza came first. Each had a slice of pizza before the bread sticks came out. The bread sticks were not good. Most of them where hollow and crunchy. Not worth having. The pizza was good. I would have the pizza again, but won't drive 45 minutes just for it. The waitress was very nice but the service was not good. In all, if I lived there, I would give it another try but I won't make the trip just to try it again. Hope they have much success as it's a very nice place.

Had 2 draft beers. Got billed for three. Brought it to the attention of the manager and he said I had 3. I know the difference between 2 and 3. Paid for a beer I did not get.

Incredible food at a good price. If you haven't had the long branch fries, it's an absolute must! I tried their hot honey pizza (sounds crazy maybe, I know) and was absolutely blown away at how good it was. My girl got the mountain mushroom and was beyond impressed. Great staff, good vibes. Couldn't say enough good things.

We stopped here while passing through. The food was really good. The pepperoni roll and fried banana peppers were fantastic. We will definitely stop here the next time we are in town.

Disappointing, hostess/waitress extremely LACKADAISICAL❗ As if she didn't want to be there. Pizza was extremely Salty, even for pepperoni. I ordered the double pep, there was not double pep, more like a regular pep in Michigan. Other pizza was salty as well but more content to it. See pics. We where 1 of 2 tables there for lunch.

Good Pizza. Their Diablo is HOT.
Same company as Apollo's if I'm not mistaken.
Edit: my original post was 3 years ago. Whatever has happened over the years has taken a toll. Pizza quality has gone down and no service. Cost me 40 bucks at I ended up not being able to finish my pizza because it was so bad. It's basically melted cheese on flat bread... Bring back the old Steam Engine!!!
Pictured was the "regular crust." 3 years ago it was actual pizza. It's sad because Irvine could use a nice pizza joint.

This is as hometown as you can get ? Delicious pizza with the small town appeal. My husband and I first encountered this place a little over a month ago when we moved to Irvine from Arizona. We love it so much, that we make a point to pop in at least once a week for the savory Pizza. You'll love the food, but the staff is top notch! Be sure to try their pickle chips. The best I've ever had ?
