Our family of 12 had the most incredible meal last night. All the adults were envious of the "kids" meal!! The chicken strips were the best we have ever eaten. The buffet had fantastic food; the salad and veggies were superb!! Delicious meats, dessert as well as the mac and cheese. I am so glad that we chose this facility for our "Christmas in March" with our family!

Got the dinner buffet, got 2 pieces of sub par chicken fried steak and 2 rolls. That cost $20, absolutely terrible meal for the price.

Wanted something hot for lunch, their options were sandwhiches or salad, Very Limited….other state parks need to give this one some help in the kitchen. The 2.3 rating is to high

This restaurant had stunning views. The waiter we had was absolutely fabulous and attentive to our needs without being overbearing. One note though (and maybe it was just on the day we were there), the full menu that is online was not offered to us and was limited to just 3 of the full menu options. We enjoyed our selections but we a bit taken by surprise when a menu arrived at the table with limited options (different from their on line menu).

The only thing good about this restaurant was the view! The buffet was awful! Old chicken, cold veggies, stale cobbler! I guess they do not have to put much effort in to it, since it is the only option! I expect state parks to be better!

The views from restaurant are amazing, staff was outstanding. Food not so much, only thing available was a lunch buffet, salad bar was just fine. Only other thing on buffet was over cooked dried out hamburgers , undercooked hotdogs and fries. That’s about it. Then we got the bill $34.00 for two. Sometimes you’re the big sometimes you’re the big. We went splat.

The views were amazing! There was no option to order from a menu and the buffet reminded me of a free breakfast offered at some hotels. Everything was lukewarm and limited options. Scambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, and french toast. Drinks were extra, and the buffet was $13. I would rather have something cooked to order for the price. The servers were lovely, but you did serve yourself except for drinks.

Docked at this new Marina, had lunch , very good, friendly staff, patio on the water very nice view. Marina store is huge with a wide variety of gifts and marine accesssories.

Literally the smallest portion of food I've ever seen on a plate. The catfish dinner came with one approximately 4" long piece of fish and about a 1/4 cup of green beans. I'm by no means stating that a plate should be rounded but when you can consume all the food in 30 seconds, they should add a little more. Very disappointing knowing what the restaurant use to be like a few years ago. Really gone down hill...

They state that service may be slow due to plandemic, but the service was great ,food ok and food extremely overpriced for what you get. Definitely not worth the cost!

We stayed at the lodge for our anniversary as we have done several times in the past. We’ve always enjoyed our visit and the food in the dining room. The food has always been very good in the past. Sad to report that was not the case this time. We went for dinner and the atmosphere and great view of the lake through the large plate glass windows is still as awesome as ever. However the food was a big disappointment. They no longer have the buffet which has been their signature offering for many years. The menu is very limited. They still offer the Hot Brown which the State Parks have been know for. I gave it a try and couldn’t believe how bad it was. Nothing like in the past. My wife had a wrap that also thought was awful. We both agreed that the food tasted like something that had come in a box off a food service truck and heated up. We didn’t go back for any other meals, so if you want to go and enjoy the views of the lake and try breakfast or lunch you may want to give it a shot. In their defense they are still recovering from post covid operations and like most places are very short staffed. That is probably contributing to the decline. On a positive note. Our server Rhonda was awesome. She was very friendly with a very pleasant personality. I would give her two thumbs up. Hoping things will improve before our next visit here.

The restaurant is only open for carry out. The food was excellent. The employees wore masks and were super friendly.

We stopped at Rowena for lunch and knew it was busy. It took an hour and half to get some of our food and longer for the rest because they accidentally gave our second pizza to a different table. They were very apologetic and gave us free ice cream. We understand accidents happen. The nacho fries were very good also. Pizza was delicious.
